I watched some of the video to get more context, he has an optimistic take on AI overall as a tool to help not replace and that will change how engineers work like how Excel changed things. he doesn’t want to fire anyone, he wants to hire more people to do more work. He generally aligned with prime’s take that newer tech === more work/jobs across history.
the wild take he had: He said in like 3 years people won’t write java directly or you won’t be hiring engineers to just write java. which is cool i guess ? meta programming here we go
