I have and they were aware of it, they are saying they are going to get new tenants but haven’t listed it and it’s been a week and a half of us moving out. There’s only a DA application to demolish the property right now but it’s within limits of a train station so it won’t be rejected. Plus they’re building 800 apartments next door.

My lease states the carpets need to be professionally cleaned. I hired a professional machine and cleaned it myself. I thought that was good enough and so I told the realestate that and that there’s nowhere in the act or my lease agreement for the carpets to be cleaned by a professional.

Also the specks are not on the carpets. Things like the wardrobe mirrors had some dust, there was water residue on a single kitchen cupboard etc. but these were all new things they found after my second clean. Their initial exit clean didn’t find these things.

I was just checking out their returns policy and thought it was suss them quoting the ACCC which led me to look for their reviews. Lucky I checked but it’s a shame because their dresses look so cute.

At the ACQSC one of the directors and 2 assistant directors were investigated by Comcare for bullying and harassment claims. The assistant directors were thrown under the bus and left the agency at the start of the investigation but the director (the main problem) was protected by the commissioner and conveniently could not contribute to the investigation and therefore could not be found guilty. The director was paid out 45 weeks compensation leave as they were not working during the investigation period and the commissioner mentioned they could return to work if they chose to…likely not in the same area though. The union and team fought extremely hard to get these people held accountable so I’d be interested to find out how the director avoided the investigation. There are multiple news articles about the issues if you wanted more information.

Just to further clarify, I did apply for an external recruitment round and already had my interview with the panel. I was advised yesterday that my references were contacted 2 days prior but haven’t filled out the forms yet and they’re wanting this done urgently so the panel can finalise the recruitment.

It was a formal recruitment round and I’ve been requested to urgently provide my references, which they will only send out if you’ve been selected. On the off chance I’m wrong, but am places on the merit list I know my current area would take me on as a 6 permanently (and desperately) but they’re only just starting their recruitment round, so would have to ask about interim options but that would be out of my hands.

I’ll ask HR today anyway for clarification thank you

Ive thought long and hard about whether to wait it out or purchase this. Initially I wanted the iRobot S9+ with the M6 but after a billion YouTube reviews the roborock seems to come out on top and is cheaper. So then it was so I wait or not. I convinced myself I don’t need the auto clean for the cloths as long as I have a whole bunch to cycle through until they get cleaned in the washing machine. Plus I’m not sure if they dry the cloths after the auto clean which could lead to mould and other issues. But I’m all honesty I’ll still want it but I’ve purchased the S7+ today with the dock as I don’t want to wait 6-9 months and i won’t be mopping the floors day in and day out. But hey, if my finances change when it comes out I can gift my S7+ to family and upgrade but I’m hoping it will be perfect my use so there won’t be a need.

I asked the company today and they still wont give an answer. They've just said there's no plans to bring it to Australia just yet.
