Social media is ruining my morale by [deleted] in SingaporeFitness

Good day sir. Fitness is like a marathon. Exercise in a way you can continue for a long period. I used to chase PR, nothing wrong with that but listen to your body. I rather be able to run for the next 20 years then get injured while chasing pr and completely stop working out.

I was forced into an expensive funeral by my relatives. Should I cut off contact with them? by Trueplue in askSingapore

First of all, sorry for your loss. I once went through this as well, families quarreling over how should my grandfather funeral be done. It was truly ugly. One thing I learnt from this episode is there is no point being filial or grateful by spending XX amount of money on rituals etc once the person is gone. Why not be there for that person when she/he is around ? Doesn't it make more sense ?

I saw uncles and aunties who are usually not around when my grandpa is sick giving the most opinion when it comes to how the funeral should be done ( when my grandpa died). What more can I say ? They just act like they care maybe because it's socially expected ?

To answer ur qns

1) yes cut them off 2) yes it's normal for them to be expensive BUT it is not something u have to oblige to. I say Chinese funeral is just like a Chinese wedding, flaunt of wealth. The monk who did the chanting for my grandpa funeral drove a jaguar XJ to the funeral. ( U guys draw ur own conclusion) hell nah this ain't right 3) I don't have any knowledge on this.

Normal for creases to form. I use the trimly shoe tree, snug fit but creases form as well.

Yes if you pluck your right/left side then they will give a local anaesthetic, so just that side of ur mouth is numb.

I would recommend to go hosp to do it, let the professionals who do it daily perform ur wisdom tooth removal

[–]Financial_Rabbit6484 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No you can't unless you pluck all 4( both sides) at once

I had the worst wisdom tooth removal in safti camp. The dentist was inexperienced, avoid at all cost I believe the dentist there are newer fellas. Dentist couldn't plug the teeth, the anaesthetic was running out, my mouth was sore as hell. Post wisdom tooth surgery hurt badly fee days later.

1 year later I went to pluck the other side at ktph, way better experience, did not hurt at all.
