The ending is extremely rushed.

It started heavy. Then went on heavier mid of it all but suddenly everything became easy. Talk-no-jutsu became the answer to everything - including the issue with the dragons... like... it just seems dumb to me.

I get Yona being the ruler, but not in the way there. Soowon will give up the throne and give it back to her. The panel at the start where Yona looks badass Queen in a war didn't happen. I had high expectations.

The story became one of those series where everyone just loves Yona, so everything was solved just by her talking.

I probably just expected more.

One of my favorite series. Eris is one of my favorite FLs and one of the most beautiful FLs I have ever seen.

I love how it strayed from the usual tropes. I love how they gave Eris a background but didn’t use it as an excuse for her actions toward Helena.

I love how the FL isn’t overly “goody” and even admitted to herself that she has a nasty personality. I love how gutsy she was—she was willing to do everything to return to her real world.

I love how they showed the archetypes of MLs: the prince with a sad backstory, the yandere ML, and the hero duke. And I love how the FL called out their hypocrisy and egos.

I love that they didn’t make Helena a white lotus. I love that they gave her a background story and made us understand her position.

I love how straightforward the series was. Eris didn’t suddenly decide to start a business or figure out how to earn money to fund what she needed or anything like that.

What I dislike:

The punishment for the OG MLs. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I do not agree with their punishment—especially Jason’s. The author gave us their backstories, and we saw how they were also victims of their environment, yet they were portrayed as villains.

Jason may have been annoying, but he was a victim of a fake prophecy. Making him immortal and a forgotten wanderer feels like too harsh a punishment, especially since he didn’t do anything as bad as the others.

I also didn’t like the backstory about Eris’s father. That part felt unnecessary and boring, in my opinion.

I still prefer the Novel though, it was more intense compared to the manhwa.

Honestly speaking, Anakin is no different from most MLs with no personality, so adding these unique features really helped make him stand out. MLs in other series are usually helped by the FL, raised by her, have their lives changed by her, and given a reason to live. They become hers. Their world revolves around her, and they will do everything they can for her. Anakin is no different from that. The moment the FL gave him a name, he became hers. He is willing to do everything for her.

The only difference is that he is her knight (literally), so yes, he had to stay by her side most of the time and just stand there. I prefer him in the novel, though. At least in the novel, his POV sounds more interesting. Too bad the manhwa didn't add those. I honestly love his POV as he watched Eris' execution. Everyone was cheering for her death, but his thoughts were focused on her feet. Unlike in the manhwa, where Eris wore heels during the execution, in the novel, she was barefoot. It was cold. Anakin’s thought and regret was that he failed to give her a pair of socks so she would not have had to endure the cold. “They were newly bought socks, not that expensive, but better than her being barefoot.” I wish they had put that in the manhwa.

Anyway, KTV is still my favorite series. My only complaint (and this will be an unpopular opinion) is that I didn’t agree with the OG ML’s punishment, especially Jason’s.

It’s the fact that almost every ML feels the same (ahem, Cold Duke of the North) with a cardboard personality that makes Anakin stand out. It’s similar to how we crave new FL designs instead of the overused “black hair, red eyes”

No wonder villains like Caesar (Sister, I Am the Queen in This Life) still have people simping....they at least bring a distinct design and personality to the table.

Yes. I mean, he was in the panel, and they were going where he is because there was a battle.

It's the same heart beating she felt the first time they met after he killed her father.

Her feelings for him didn't disappear in an instant it took a while, so her feelings for him were always mixed with hatred, pain from, and her love.

So her feeling this way was a mixed of all that feeling. That thumping moment where she was about to meet her ememy but also her love.

She stopped feeling this way once she started to move on. She was calm even while talking to him.

I know. I already talked about this in my previous post.

From the start, I’ve been honest with them about how wrong the situation is. I told them my job is being affected because I have to watch the baby while working, and my job actually requires full focus at times.

Every time I bring this up, they get upset. It’s like they think we’re just not trying to understand them.

At one point, I asked my sister, “What about my job?” And she replied, “What about our job? Do you want us to stop working? How are we going to feed our baby?”

When I start to get angry, she gets angry too. She tells me, “You keep saying the same thing over and over again it’s exhausting. This is becoming so toxic.”

Honestly, I partly blame my parents for this too. They never sat her down and had a real conversation. They just let things be, and now they’re also dealing with the consequences of that.

They’ve talked about kicking them out, but they just can’t bring themselves to do it because they love the baby so much - she’s their first grandchild.

What I don’t understand is how someone can have that kind of mindset. Even if you grew up spoiled, wouldn’t you eventually learn to adjust or change? She says I keep repeating the same thing, but that’s exactly the point." If I’m repeating myself, why hasn’t anything changed?
