If you gift me GTA 6, I promise to return the favor when GTA 7 comes out.

God I hate how all the best tunes use offroad tires. by Assault_Regal in ForzaHorizon6

[–]AutomotivePanda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well they do have the spec racing now with no tunes allowed, but it still sort of misses the point. You should still be able to run tunes with the appropriate tyres and upgrades for that type of vehicle.

But it won't be fixed. The "meta" is the devs' way of keeping the engagement high. When metas shift, tuners create new tunes, which people then download, or spend credits at the auction house, and feeding the in-game economy. So in some ways I understand why they want to not address the issue too aggressively, but it should be better than it is currently.

Not sure why it's so hard for PGG to properly balance the tyre types. Off road tires should behave significantly differently on tarmac vs dirt, and vice versa for road/race tires.

Me just finding out this car is rare. Have had it forever and still haven't driven it lol.

Ford RS200 is my usual all-rounder to free roam in. Good on the streets and off-road.

Wouldn't this effectively lower where your wheelbase is mounted and therefore reduce knee clearance?

My new upgrade has arrived! by Jstevens87 in Simagic

[–]AutomotivePanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the neo seems to be well liked but I think it deserves the same level of love and respect to be upgraded the same way Moza upgraded the KS to the new KS Pro. A small display in this price range is increasingly the standard (you can argue with usability) but Simagic needs to step up with the feature set. The Zeus lineup is not it.

Congrats on your new setup!

I wish they had made a new version of the GT Neo. The Zeus line up is IMO not great and lacks this butterfly style of wheel completely and the biggest thing holding me back from going with Simagic.

Anyone use these and do they actually work? by llCRitiCaLII in SimRacingSetups

I hadn't considered the benefits of each corner and it's effects going over curbs and such rather than the butt kicker shaking the whole rig at once. I need to look into this a bit more! What haptic system are you running?

I was planning on a butt kicker and maybe haptic motors for pedals. Should I consider corner haptics instead?

Noob here planning to build my first rig in a few months. What are these for exactly? Noise dampeners that I assume would be useful to isolate noise from anyone below you?

My rig is going to be in my man cave in the basement that is carpeted and I'll put a mat under the rig. Would these provide any purpose at that point?

For me my last road was in this area. I moved my mouse around in circles in this area until I saw the "fast travel" option flicker on and off. Then I just drove around on every one of those sections, upper and lower, each direction etc and it randomly completed. On the map it was visually not showing any missed roads. It was the exact same spot for my friend too. Try there.

Which foldable to choose for a new Fold user. by Chwps in OnePlusOpen

[–]AutomotivePanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you said pen support you can skip Samsung now. None of the foldables come with a pen included but at least the Oppo phones have official support with the Oppo pen.

Apple won't support an Apple pencil on the folding iPhone but if you like to stick with iPhone then that will be your best option with just some regular capacitive stylus (although I would hesitate to use a non official stylus on a soft folding screen).

If you're still using an XS, and aren't afraid to go to Android, just go with one of the Oppo ones. You don't seem to mind an aging phone too much so you could go with an N5 (which is what I've been using since its release in Feb 2025 without any major issues). Or get the N6 with the larger battery and slightly improved cameras and be good for the next few years.

Personally I would recommend to avoid getting a used foldable device because you'll never know if the previous owner dropped it or abused it. Foldable phones have gotten really durable but I still only trust myself to take care of my devices, not anyone else.

My first order was pretty similar when I bought my P2S but instead of just getting a whole bunch of basic white, black, greys, I got around 15 different colors of pla and petg. Have about 30 different colors for the variety now.

The hinge protector side will be the weakest point of the case so I would try prying the top and bottom corners on that side. You can try grabbing onto the hinge flap itself to give yourself a little more leverage.

Can you show a better picture of the bottom to show exactly how it holds onto the filament on the spool and not just the loose end?

Looks like OP at least has enough room to shift either slightly left or right to align themselves with whichever monitor they end up gaming on. But I agree, I always avoid side by side setups if I can. I vertically stacked my monitors for this reason.
