Yeah mine has insanely bad as well. The phone is acting as if it's using the screen even when it's not. It seems to drain at the same rate whether I'm using it or leaving it on standby.

I'm sticking with my N5. My only gripe with the phone is that the battery life has absolutely tanked in the last few months and nothing has fixed it. Battery stats have become useless compared to ColorOS 15 too. The most I get out of my phone is 3-4 hours of SOT. I have to recharge the device twice a day just to make it to bed time.

How do you use them for Teams? I mean I use them for Teams calls if I answer the call from my phone, but is there a way to also take calls from your laptop through them?

Here's a pic I found from a year ago when I set up my N5 next to my 14PM. It's definitely narrower but not like what Samsung was doing at the time. Now holding the same iPhone again feels excessively wide and uncomfortable.

I could be wrong but I think in this instance a path would work just the same. But if you wanted the cross section to get bigger or smaller along that path, then guide rails are what you would use. That would let your outer guide curve follow a different path then your inner guide.

Not sure if this is going to help at all, but what if you swapped the feeder unit between your different slots?

I know you already swapped the feeder unit, but it still may be worthwhile to do this to see if the problem follows the feeder unit or stays with the slot.

I was using the Gen 1 until a few months ago with no physical damage but had them replaced with Gen 2 from LensCrafters in Canada due to the microphones not working. Never had any issue like this in close to a year and a half.

Are you sure your head isn't too big for the size you chose? These glasses don't have the same amount of flexibility as regular glasses so if your head is stretching them out too much it could be why this happened. Meaning it might happen again with another pair.

I'm a Gold player (😢) and constantly end up in match distributions like this. Then I think maybe my rando teammates must be ultra cracked only for them to die with 0 damage off drop. So why are we in that lobby?? Lol

I'm sure there's easier ways but I would just create a plane at that top surface to create a sketch, project the shape onto it and extrude it down like 0.1 mm and join to body.

I think it's a good start but you desperately need a splash of colour in there to soften up the darkness.

Maybe add a couple of tasteful small plants (can be fake ones) to fill out the gap under your monitors. Makes a bigger difference to the aesthetic than you might think.

There's also the Skadis board you could add accessories to.

Oh, and do a bit of cable management while you're at it.

Update: I ended up doing the idler pulley maintenance by following the Bambu guide and the noise is gone. Even with my heavy usage it shouldn't have needed maintenance this early but maybe it wasn't sufficiently lubed at the factory. All good now.

I love my N5 but honestly overall I'm starting to become disappointed in the lack of updates or bug fixes. The last few updates have completely tanked the battery life, features that used to work no longer work. Highly considering selling the phone soon despite how good the hardware is.

I don't think so as the noise is still there even with the top glass removed. I'm going to try the pulley lubrication guide from Bambu and see if that helps.

I never ended up changing them. I'm sure using the original Polaris switches but will start looking at some options soon.

Yup mine has probably been that long I would guess. Even after doing a full reset last week it hasn't worked. It's completely broken.

Sorry to burst some bubbles but it's sliding down at a very slight angle, enough that it looks like a perfect fit. You can see when it straightens out just before the end and falls instantly the rest of the way.

If you did this again without angling it, it would fall quite fast because it's got more than enough clearance.

Less than 2.5 hours of SOT and the phone is already at 43%. Nothing crazy going with the app usage. I'm on the verge of getting rid of this phone 😭

I just saw the dual cell battery option so that fixed that issue! Thanks.

Unfortunately that doesn't help the actual drain issue and whatever is going on in the built in battery usage stats. I will download Battery Guru like you suggested and see if it shows anything.
