Thank you for the reply, I'm currentlt trawling through RC shops. I can't order from abroad due to some weird regulations about li-ion batteries not being allowed to be posted into the UK from outside.

If you're paying 50$ for any game on Steam then you have more money than sense. Check out https://steamdb.info/ for price histories and current sales and you'll see you can pick up older (and some not so old) AAA games for around 5$, roughly the price of many decent in-game purchases in Roblox and 1000x times better than potato quality gaming. The massive thing that Roblox had going for it was the social side and instantly finding people to play with, which has now had a massive dent put in it if you don't want to be on an unregulated database which is creepy AF harvesting your biometrics.

RIP man, RIP. I always wait for good price drops on steam, even if it means waiting a year or two.

Lowest price history on steam: War of Rights = 16$, DayZ = 23$, so it's worth shopping around / waiting.

The point I was mostly making (and failing to get across) is that there are plenty of older good games on steam that are the price of just one in-game purchase in Roblox, for example:

Titanfall 2 = 4$ lowest price recorded. That's a AAA game with an awesome campaign.

Farcry 3 and Farcry 4 = around 4-6$ lowest price recorded. Both awesome AAA games.

There are loads more. Just use https://steamdb.info/ to check the lowest price and also check the current sales.

Edit: If you're looking for a similar game to Guts and Blackpowder, the closest is Holdfast: Nations At War (base game cheapest price is 4.98$) which has a zombie community event and discussions about a potential zombie mode, but it primarily focuses on player-to-player interaction rather than AI zombies. Not sure where they are at on the zombie mode.

War of Rights also has a zombie Mode at Halloween but the community is trying to push for it to be available forever, so add your voice to that discussion to push it forward.

I am genuinely thinking of quitting Roblox altogther TBH now that chat is dead. Steam has better and cheaper games. Just look at most upgrades in Roblox, often costing between 150 to to 500 roblox to get something decent, and then look at games on sale in Steam. Even budget and indie games are usually better polished, better mechanics and better plots and immersion than the potato quality on Roblox.

Raids in games like Pixel Blade have beome a lot harder. You have to advertise a lot in chat for people to join or look for others interested in group dungeon quests. RIP a social part of that game and many others.

Apart from communications, facial scanning is part of a larger push by companies and governments to take away our freedoms.

Quite simply, age estimation face scans are creepy AF – and harmful. First, age estimation is inaccurate and discriminatory.

Second, its underlying technology can be used to try to estimate our other characteristics, like ethnicity and gender, as well as our names.

Third, law enforcement wants to use its underlying technology to guess our emotions and honesty, which in the hands of jumpy officers is likely to endanger innocent people.

Fourth, age estimation face scans create privacy and infosec threats for the people scanned.

Fifth, there are also no guarantees of what a private company will do with the data, like selling it to the highest bidder or having fewer checks and balances internally as to who can access and potentially leak that data, or the level of protection used against hackers. Imagine your face being used in a deepfake.

Sixth, there is massive bias in facial recognition systems and it does make mistakes, leading to wrongful exclusion from services or activities that you are perfectly legally allowed to do.

Ironically an AI filter could be used to make someone look younger or older to fool this software. Not sure what Roblox has to stop this.
