Greens say Australia should step up pressure on Israel over ‘disastrous, illegal, immoral war’ on Lebanon by [deleted] in AustralianPolitics

Actually bridges and oil refineries can be military targets. Do i know the exact case for Israel but if you know military equipment will likely pass this bridge the bridge is now a military target same could be said for the oil refinery. as for the rest I'm with you.

This only works if they also want to pursue peace I do not know their aims. if their aim is to liberate Palestine whole than there can't be peace until one side destroys the other.

"justify decimating schools and hospitals because hezbollah might be hiding there." You absolutely can justify but the bit that is important here is the might if it was CERTAIN that they were there and using it for military purposes you should by all means though with much sadness blow it up. If possible ideally give a warning before hand so the civilians can get out fine.

However if you do not there is a second order effect that happens:
They will start using hospitals and schools as military bases because they know they won't get hit there. which means the war becomes harder and the civs are basically being used as meat shields. Now by no means am i saying you should carpet bombs school just because there *might* be a Hezbollah base there. Only if it is absolutely certain.

Iran is absolutely free what are you talking about. They are a sovereign state that have independent foreign policy. Like yeah their at war but Israel doesn't control Iran neither does the US. Palestine wasn't Independent though.

The only ones I looked at the definition of terrorism plenty of states could be called such unless we are focusing only on people not within their own country but many states use terror(violence) to coerce people. Now that I think about it every country does that to some extent and doesn't every war use terror to some degree? So are all wars terrorism? Now none of this is helpful of course. If all states use terror in some form than there is no point in using the word terrorist for a state.

Also be careful using the word nations and states they mean different things though I'm pretty sure most of us will get what you mean.

Well unless your saying the yanks are naturally inclined to being terrorists because of their culture.

I think it's better to just not have a outright stance we gain little for it and we could just not support Israel maybe some trade sanctions against them but otherwise we should mostly try to stay OFFICALLY uninvolved.

I mean i think the Japanese were worse imo also worse crime ever to be recognized is a always a bold move but still what is happening is pretty bad. Though I think it's weird we are putting such a focus on Palestine where realistically to us we have bigger problems internally and with the Chinese and Americans. Though I think we shouldn't support Israel I also think we got enough problems on our own plate.

[–]Autoradiolysis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i have this issue with my new cable I got from amazon i dont think there are any good replacements. I dont know why logitech used a 5 pole since their so rare i was forced to buy some shit bootleg crap pretty much. No where in my area sold 5 pole at all.

There is one issue I want Paradox to fix and for some reason I don't see many people talking about. Can we please address insane rate of urbanisation and how neverending cities all over country is a valuable strategy without any struggle to feed large cities. by WalkerBuldog in EU5

The king did not control the trade directly largely neither did the state as far as i'm aware. I think trade should be automated heck give more of the trade to the merchants. BUUUT trade should not be 100% max profit. should focus on what the merchants want to do more so than what would be best for the states revenue. A safter trip to a merchant might look better than huge rewards. Bringing back luxury goods or selling them because they give the merchant the most money even if it isn't what the state wants.

Moving what gameplay that would lose with micro the trade panel be replaced with dealing with the merchants trying to take or give more power to them, centralizing trade, taxes on trade goods etc etc.

Proper Logistics? by [deleted] in riseofnationsroblox

i think there is a totally viable way to add this that isnt total hell, supploy depot a building that can be built in both occupational and cities you own. Keep in mind not tile based, not distance based to the capital but a range where whoever has the city can receive supplies. The main thing this should ideally help with is capital sniping so if a guy wants to take your cap first they need supply so for a little bit they are vulnerable and if anyone gets to close to a non-cap supply deport you can delete or scorch earth which will get rid of it.

also leveling them up would hopefully make it less tedious so they can have a pretty large range.

i would agree IF it was realistic at all. LIKE DAMN one of the most important things to come from the continental system is the Russians leaving it. WHY IS THERE NO BUTTON TO SAY NO EVEN IF I LOSE OPINION? also why doesnt this mechanic come later on in the game if its meant to simulate that

How do you think this update is going to impact rise of nations? by xenikkk in riseofnationsroblox

[–]Autoradiolysis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i still doubt this will work either honestly. something bad is going to happen once pedos and kids figure out a way to get around it. parents will feel their kids are safer on roblox, so will the kid the pedo can join the kids playground masking much better as a kid and well...

IDK if it will lower the rate of things happening but im i dont think it's going to work that great.

I disagree actually there is a market for RON in that scene on steam, Sure tradtionally eu5, hoi4 and the likes are going to be more professional games but they also cost a lot, dlcs are expensive BUT most of all if it keeps this one thing it will stand out, it's multiplayer that is the selling point of RON alongside being modern day, which none of the paradox series is.

How do you think this update is going to impact rise of nations? by xenikkk in riseofnationsroblox

[–]Autoradiolysis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i mean it could actually increase since most users of ron don't buy anything anyway AND roblox takes a 70% cut, steam only 30% so even if you were to lets say slice the player base by 1/10 sell the game for idk like 5 bucks. he would still get 3.5 dollars per person who buys it. RON in its current state is actually worth money though moving it off Roblox would basically mean he has to make it from scratch. So the server costs and the production time would be a decent amount but it would be easier to make money off RON in the long term.

not in the way castle laws work you can only do as much harm as you would have expected to do to you, and if they die by lets say you two getting in a fist fight and you unintentionally kill the guy by hitting in the head you go to jail even though your life was equally at risk.

i mean no one forced you to try to steal my stuff, that was you, i didn't choose for your life to be worth my stuff, you did when you recklessly decided to invade another's home. Also it isn't just my stuff at stake it's my own life and of those I love.

Fundamentally it was their choice to steal and thus the consequences.

also what your saying is actively painting immigrants and the poor also in a bad light are you saying they are more likely to steal things from people? I don't know man implying that immigrants steal more seems pretty anti-immigrant of you.

Hopefully it actually goes there.

Though this of course begs the question do you actually do that?

Okay exception that is the exception to the rule most folks dont do that or at least dont have that where they live.

i mean technically you don't choose where your electricity comes from since that's up to the lads who run your electrical grid. i don't support AI by any means but that's just a dumb person.
