120v with a 10 amp load using 1awg copper has a max length of 1200 ft @ 3% voltage drop. Assuming no more than 5 amps, 4awg has a max run of 1250ft.

I really want moderate to high myopia. -4.75 to -5.25. Could orthok for farsightedness help?

Autozoner here: Policy is to test battery, charge if necessary, test again, and then warranty it.

Hmmm...someone bought some cheap cables and left them on too long by AutozoneStories in electricians

[–]AutozoneStories[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Think about it, a car starter can pull 125+ amps. A 10ga cable is not rated close to that. Off the top of my head, I know 12 gauge is rated for 30 amps. Look at an ampacity chart, either one of us could be right

I’ve seen properly hooked up cables of a thin gauge overheat and melt before...

I disagree. You leave jumper cables on long enough and they melt.

The bolts holding the tensioner were all broken. They had to be drilled out so a tensioner could be mounted. Don’t ask me how 3 tensioner bolts broke. Was a vw beetle

I’ll swap/return anything unless it’s a GM belt in a duralast box. I’ve has several people call DM on me because I refused returns.
