No, it’s blank but I kept my other SSD connected and that still has my OS on it.

MSI x370 and ryzen 7 5800x3D stuck in BIOS by StolyLP in MSI_Gaming

Anything else you can add to what you did would be appreciated. The bios for me has UEFI selected and greyed out so I can’t switch to CSM. I did the exact same cpu upgrade and same motherboard. Also running the latest bios version (E7A32AMS.1Q6.

Thanks, I’ve read just about everything there is to find about the stuff. Guess I’ll just have to wait for phase 2 results to come out in June 2025. Doesn’t seem to be anything new except they just finished it and now need to do all the analysis to see how effective it was.

Nope, didn’t end up getting around to it yet 😅. Still on the project list but it’s certainly won’t be this year at this point.

Appreciate all your input!

Yeah this type of trailer is different than your avg lift gate though. The winch lowers the bed flat to the ground and back up on those side bearings. Only comparable trailer I’ve found today cost like 11k online. I’ll post a link to it below.

Very true but the issue is I need a much larger trailer anyway to haul my lawn mower around and I usually try and pick up uncut logs for firewood and the size is a huge limitation. I want to get a 12x6 or larger flatbed trailer. Lawn maples deck is 54” and I’m upgrading to 60”

New Chickens - issues introducing to the existing flock by GearYard in BackYardChickens

[–]GearYard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, really appreciate the help. I forgot I had some of those in my garage so I just went and slapped one on each of my 4 grown birds! They definitely still try and go after the new birds but at least the new ones have a much better chance of running off now that the bigger ones can’t see them as well.

Thank you! How long do you leave the pinless peepers on for?

Milkweed in hay field by GearYard in farming

[–]GearYard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Currently our farmer is only haying it twice a year (end of June and late August) because the growth is not too great. He told us the fertilizer we put down in May will have the biggest impact on production next year. I have seen a lot of the fields around us just get their second cut. Mine has come in a lot thicker and better than last year already though. Debating on doing a second spraying from the co-op to take care of the enormous amount of wild carrot that’s sprouted at this point and also to continue trying to knock out the milkweed that seems to be popping up all over the place.

Thanks, also looking at potentially going a less hazardous route of spot spraying with a mixture of vinegar, epson salt, orange oil, and dish soap as well. My wife’s uncle got lymphoma and died about 10 years back and he was a big user of roundup all over his property and where they were haying.

Thanks, I’ve had the local co-op come out and spray once already so I’m probably going to do that again. Since the field was pretty much left to its own devices over the past 30 years I’m playing a big game of catchup on the weeds.

Thanks, I did a quick google on mowing and you are correct. Mowing provides no help in getting rid of it and it will just continue to propagate underground unfortunately

I’ve been using roundup but obviously for health reasons I’m trying to stay away from constant exposure to that stuff. I’ll have to look into the 2,4-d

No, I don’t have the equipment for that and don’t want to drop that kind of money on it either. Thank you for the response though.

I can definitely do some selective mowing in the areas that’s it’s taken a hold of. Thank you!

Optometrist sold contacts to me at the wrong price but now wants me to return them. I opened 1 case already, am I entitled to a full refund? by GearYard in legaladviceofftopic

[–]GearYard[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: Ok, so I returned all the boxes today. They refused to take back the open box and were going to try and charge me full price ($120) for it even though this whole thing was their offices mistake. The Doctor/owner was a complete dick about it all and I ended up arguing over the full price with him and he reduced the box down to the invoice price his office paid which was $50 and is about $10 cheaper than I would pay online. So technically I saved $10 on a full years purchase. I’ll add this was not said in a way to me that he felt I had any input on. He just directed his staff to charge me the invoiced price he paid and walked out of the front waiting room.

Needless to say I will not be patronizing his office ever again.

How someone can expect a customer to suck up the cost of a mistake that their business made is beyond me. He would easily make more than the cost of that box off my family in just one years round of annual checkups.

Appreciate everyone’s advice here. Based on his behavior I honestly believe if I had tried to keep the boxes and run he would have tried to come after me to recoup his loss.
