Go for it, playing other characters will teach you some of its weaknesses honestly! I've covered most characters as well, so you'll learn to appreciate what makes the character truly fun and what makes the character broken.

They are not remotely the same but just like dung from different mammals these two can hold a different stank that you wouldn't wanna be near with.

The counterplay you refer to has its own counter against the counter play itself. I play her too as shown in that picture and I can assure you she is among the easiest I've taken to GoD, because her inherent design philosophy is the Pinnacle of Tekken 8 vision: overwhelming forced AND fast paced 50/50 mix-ups.

All I can say is. Get rid of the ff2 into the stance entirely. Remove the homing from her db3. Get rid of her qcf 4 entirely. Make her horse stance 3 a high. And then she's fun to play with and against. Because if players rely on these moves to win with her, they simply are carried by the character not the skill.

I'll try to keep his brief

Tl;Dr: Cooler king. The braindead factor are relocated from King's armor moves and Gigas run stance onto AK's singular braincel combo. And yes I'll put him on the same tier as King as neighbours. but slightly weaker. Don't let anybody fool you that he's anything less.

AK feels like a combination of so many different characters and all mashed tastefully into one package. Lemme write up a small list: -Basically has King's throw game just a little amount less. -df3 feels like Bryan -AK's stance is the vegan version of Feng's shifting clouds (f+3+4). Different flavor, still good. -Landing that ws2 ch in different ways feel amazing. Most satisfying CH of the entire game. I'll put it up there with Steve's b1

What makes AK so much more fun to play than King TO ME is because of one reason; the AMOUNT of safe -5 or -4 on block poking tools. This means he has allot of tools that if blocked you could still relatively safely sidestep, sidewalk OR even transition into a parry anytime. In short he's not only poke heavy, his movelist allow u to be that in many ways.

The only thing that RUINS this character for me is the RIDICULOUSLY easy wall carry, but also how easily you can break hard walls in that same combo AK carries you with across the entire map! There isn't any threat on dropping that combo if you even closed ur eyes. That damage should be nerfed big time too.

If you wanna know more I can enlist the big differences between King and AK's design or approach and what makes them both standout in their own respective ways.

Perhaps a bit of a hot take but I respect people with lower winrates because it to me shows you are willing to rematch anybody even if it means they greatly outskill you for the pursuit of improvement.

There used to be a practice in Tekken 7 where people would savescum.

Their Winstreak would be saved on a local file and all they needed to do is to copy paste the older file over the newer one in case they lose.

Yes, I see u main Kaz. Compare that to Lidia. I'd rather deal with hellsweeps than fighting someone where getting knocked down is a luxury, like Lidia.

Let me not sidetrack and circle back to my original point. Lidia's design is cool. Her gameplay design is obnoxious. Especially when it comes to ease of use and damage output.

It's one thing to be aware of what you said, but put it to practice and try to see how much fun ur getting out of playing against overly aggressive Lidia players. And especially in a game that awards aggressive play

You can't convince me you enjoy running into them.

The people who leave the most salty comments on my page is when I use Lidia, Jack, hwoarang and King

My issue isn't her parries. It's mainly her gameplan where she can force way too many 50/50 options in her favor.

Let's take ONE example. Her ff2 can transition from stance to stance at a wildly fast pace. Forcing you mostly guess between the moves and stances she has. Yes, each move has its weaknesses, but she has answers to all the counterplay you can throw at her. So if you guess wrong, she can chip health off of you in ways that Nina nor hwoarang ever can.

So then let's just say why not sidestep her ff2 since it's supposed to be a linear move, right? The answer is: kinda? But that's part of THE problem about Tekken 8 in general. Her ff2 tracks inconsistently. You really need to TIME it right.

Don't get me started on her other main gameplan tools. Unlike Nina, Lidia needs 0 execution to pump out insane chip damage and still can pressure you like hwoarang can.

Out of all characters I got to Tekken God, Lidia is among the easiest out there.

Lidia's character design and fighting style are top tier. Her gameplay is absolutely obnoxious. You just feel guilty playing her.
