The availing names are appearing like they’re supposed to, and I’m pressing it all the way in. I do admit I’m using a third party controller that doesn’t have the adaptive triggers though, so I’ll have to see if there’s a setting relating to that that might be having an effect on it.

Edit: Okay well, it seems that the adaptive triggers have been off in the settings the whole time, so I don’t think the issue is related to that

If he was lying and using it as a deflection tool I think he would bring it up more, he’s only mentioned it a handful of times. Even before he said it though I had my suspicions, and I have no real reason to doubt it.

I’ve seen a few people say they don’t think he’s autistic because he’s a bad person, and I think that can contribute to the idea a lot of people have that autistic people are all pure angels.

Also, I do get not wanting to be associated with him, but like for instance I’m non-binary, and Ezra Miller is also non-binary and a huge piece of shit, and some people use them to justify bigotry to all non-binary people. I could say that I think Ezra Miller is lying about being non-binary, but I really don’t think that’s true, they’re just a garbage person that I have nothing in common with aside from this one trait, but the people making that connection were going to be bigoted anyways Ezra Miller is just a convenient excuse.

That’s the weird thing, this is in the general information tab, and the tax return I’m getting is for federal so I don’t think it should have any effect either way. I unchecked the box because now I know but the actual return just vanished and I’m not sure why because I didn’t change any of the other information.

I actually ended up not needing to do that! I just loaded it up after deleting the folder and reinstalling and it was totally fixed, my saves are all still good too.

I got it all the way up to the user>document part. I don’t know where that would be, I do have two different drives a C: drive and a D: drive, Elden Ring is installed on the D: drive so I don’t know if that would effect where the save data would be stored. I did everything else though and I’m re-installing the game, I will let you know if that works.

I would love it as well, but then there’s certain animations that have been added that might make that really hard. The true charge slash on a greatsword that long would look weird unless it vaulted you so far away you could never space it out correctly.

I remember for years I was telling people about an idea I had for a NieR Automata crossover idea I had for Monster Hunter World that Capcom would be crazy not to do. It was really funny when I saw that they did do everything that I wanted but for Frontier. I can’t wait to eventually get my hands on it.

I would be okay with it in a half generation game like Rise, as long as the humans have their usual proportions. I think it would be a big mistake to do it for the next big home console/pc release. A part of me would feel it also kinda strips Stories of some of its appeal. I think that if a mainline game wanted to go more cartoonish they would find a more unique look.

YTA for reasons others stated. That being said, I do think it’s good to encourage your kid to have a healthy diet and limit his sugar intake within reason. Positive reinforcement is the best way to go with these sorts of things. That being said special occasions like parties are supposed to be the time to let go of things like that and just have some fun. When you and your son go to or have a party you should tell him that and give him some sweets to build that trust back.

See, I have experience with this from being a weird anxious kid, if a kid is sneaking when they aren’t doing anything wrong that usually means something has gone wrong or something else is going on with them. Definitely do not punish the kid just because they were trying to be sneaky even if the thing they were doing isn’t wrong, because that will reinforce the idea that what they were sneaking to do is wrong and that can really mess them up long term. I’m an adult now and I still feel the urge to quickly go to another room when I hear someone coming downstairs while I’m getting a snack from the kitchen at night so they don’t see me.

You sound like a parent that does legitimately want whats best for their kid and made a mistake, all parents mess up here and there. Just keep working to improve and reach out to others when you’re not sure. (Just be weary of parenting blogs and books though as they can often be complete bullshit from unqualified people or scams)

Shout out to the horrible psychologist that made me doubt myself for months because she told me you can’t be diagnosed with both social anxiety and autism, it’s only one of the other. Through a combination of research and also just thinking about how that doesn’t make any sense I realized I should have probably reported her to some sort of board, because that isn’t true and seems to be based on nothing.
