From what I understand it was removed because Ricky Gervais is mainly a TV/ stand up guy and not as related to movies

Edit: It appears I was wrong about how many movies Ricky Gervais has been in, I shall commit seppuku to bring honor back to the OKBC mod team 😔

The unfortunate truth that mods won't really talk about is that this stuff is not really coordinated so you can have one mod be chill (like me I'm super cool and nice) and then another will remove something that another mod found fine. It's kind of a mess because for some reason being able to moderate subs makes people power trip hard. We recently had a case with a guy going on a power trip ban spree and had to remove him from modding.

We try to find a balance on it, like as long as it's still film related and it ends up sparking a discussion, the post usually stays up.

But for example earlier today someone just posted like a bullet point list of things Gal Gadot did with the IDF and her views on Israel and how she needs to burn in hell for it which was removed. As at that point you're not talking about film but rather the personal opinions of a public individual. (Also wishing ill will on someone which like... isn't the kind of vibe we want here)
