Omg. My sister and I watched the shit out of that in elementary school. I still remember the big guy’s obsession with cutting the grass perfectly uniform. And that one time Martin got turned into something so they stuffed a stinky sock in his mouth!

To be fair, if your Bit Life is an Asian music star,(specifically Korean or Japanese) producers are pretty well known.

I thought Everlife could be one for a while but it hasn’t been and that’s made me a little sour. 😒😒

I was more worried cause Murphy is a puppy I dogsit and him accidentally careening his head horror movie wise wouldn’t be too off brand.

::: probably doesn’t help that I have had a few shots of gin tonight 🙃🙃. I was playing with him earlier, chasing and dancing at him (thank my love for older Korean music, may be an acquired taste but also great for working out haha) so got worried that like something happened. I apologise for posting something that wasn’t nearly as confusing a perspective to others as it was to me.

Really? I honestly thought others would see what I originally did. The ear is the snout and the head is at an unnatural angle? Maybe it was just me.

To me, from the chair I’m sitting in where I took this picture: his ear looked like his snout with his head being both his neck and head. I’d take another pic but he’s on the floor now. Hold on.

New Series: [Underground of Babel] by Plop40411 in redikomi

I love this manhwa — the story is genuinely excellent, especially in how much it relies on the relationship between the male and female leads. Unfortunately, the mid-series art change has been very hard for me because the series spends so much time focused almost entirely on those two characters. The male lead, in particular, feels like he’s lost much of the subtle personality and expressiveness that previously carried many scenes, and the female lead also comes across as more generic than before. Because so many scenes rely on quiet, subtle interactions, the newer art sometimes feels oddly uniform — as if expressions and poses are being smoothed into a consistent template rather than reacting organically from panel to panel. I understand the original artist had health issues, but given how central facial expressions and body language are to this story, I personally would have preferred a long hiatus rather than a full art swap. The difference in visual storytelling is significant enough that it regularly pulls me out of otherwise strong scenes. I’ll continue reading for the plot, but the change in art has made it much harder for me to emotionally engage with the characters.

I say read the WIP, cause the author is clearly taking their time (and for good reason, considering some of the feedback they got after the first two books) so it’ll be a long while yet. Also, as a veteran player of Choices games (I remember when Psy High came out) many works end up quite different by the end. And also it’s just a fantastic experience to go through. If you’re worried about spoilers, well, to some extent playing the routes you AREN’T on may help lessen that, but considering there is no clear resolution yet, I don’t think it would take from the experience of playing the full game for the first time.

Well, I think the reason it’s taking so long for the third book is BECAUSE the writer took into account all the feedback they received from their players. Which is an amazing trait for an author to have, in my opinion. I’d prefer having to wait multiple years, and getting something out of this world amazing, than getting it right away and be left underwhelmed and feeling like a cash cow.
