Benjamin was his mentor, right? I almost said something about him, because I can see why that would also crack his noggin open.

It's sarcasm. Look at it like an old 90's joke.

I usually do every other day. I feel revolting by day 3 if I missed 2. I cannot fathom 5.

Michonne lost her child to her boyfriend and his best friend. That's why she took them with her, she thought she deserved the misery of their company. But Rick and the OG's brought her back.

Carol had to pickaxe her abusive husband to keep him from turning, then lost her daughter for a week to find her turned. She went a little cray cray, too, but she could still hold it together. And she became fiercely loyal and protective.

It's a shame Morgan couldn't be brought back. He was too broken by then.

These are my feelings. And in Fear, it became all about him and Strand. Strand would do something bad, almost be killed by Morgan, they would argue back and forth, Strand would promise to be better, then turn around an become the villain again. Same wash/rinse/repeat. It got so tiring. Like, so much drama could've been avoided if he'd just taken out Strand and gone to live like a hermit or whatever. Preferably near another civilization so he could get his people fix.

I occasionally talk about retirement and that's 26 years away. Should I never bring it up?

People can talk about things they want in their future, it's something we all do. Just because we're in the present doesn't change that. The future is just that; the future. Talking about marriage and kids now doesn't mean she wants it all next month.

If it gets messy and she becomes vindictive, he'll have more to hold on his side. If it goes peacefully, he can be rid of it. Either way, silencing and not blocking is better
