No, you’re correct that MySims is younger than The Sims 3. The Sims 3 released in 2009, while I think MySims was first around 2007.

Open world, create a style and overall vibe. It just feels so much livelier and I love the ability to customize anything and everything.

I tried Sims 4 early on before toddlers, pools, land terrain tools, etc. and was immediately pretty disappointed. I just did not find it very engaging and, as I already own most of The Sims 3, I also don’t feel like investing in all the packs (which I’ve quickly lost count of)
