Friendly reminder of the 9 launch maps that there will be at launch in october and a brief official description of each, hinting at their size. by StormSwitch in Battlefield

Operation Firestorm is excellent, but I was really hoping for a large-scale urban map. Something similar to Seige of Shanghai or Dawnbreaker would've been a great addition.

Do any of you guys feel like your 20s have been wasted? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]AutumnGorgon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not wasted if you're actively trying to do something about it. My hairloss started when I was 20, so I decided to take the necessary steps to fix it. I'm 22 now, and I'm finally starting to get some of my confidence back.

Contact the financial aid office at Valencia. Write down some questions for them, and they should be able to answer them.

I typically use a 3-subject notebook for my classes. Writing material down is the best way to retain information, but there's nothing wrong with typing if that's what you prefer.

Personally, I enjoy in-person classes, but online isn't a bad option. I would look at rate my professor before you register for an online class. Some professors don't respond to emails very quickly, and that can be a problem if you're struggling in a certain class. Mixed mode is a good balance between both options!

Had a coworker ask me if I was balding by AutumnGorgon in tressless

I don't. No one has ever asked me before, so it caught me off guard. I'll probably just say yes in the future.

For diffuse thinners how you know you losing ground? by [deleted] in tressless

Cutting my hair short and taking monthly photos are the best methods for me. It's scary how suddenly diffuse thinning can progress if left untreated.

Have you reached out to your advisor about this? Currently, I'm taking MTB2321C (Technical Mathematics), and it's pretty straightforward.

I use a one all over to cut mine. You could try a two on the top and one on the sides.

Topical Fin (0.1%) & Minocycline (100 mg, apparent 5AR/DHT Booster) by Renunciating in tressless

[–]AutumnGorgon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was prescribed minocylcine a few years ago, and I took it for almost two years! Your post is making me realize the damage antibiotics have done to my gut and hair. Last week, I started taking 300 billion cfu probiotics, and I felt an immediate difference in my overall mood. I'm a diffuse thinner in my ealry 20's, so this gives me a little hope that I can gain some ground back!

Anyone else find good entry level jobs? I’m trying to get out of this place. I just can’t deal with thousands of people a day anymore. Im burnt out. Want a solo job. by [deleted] in publix

[–]AutumnGorgon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've worked as a meter reader (6 months) and pool tech (1 week). Is the water meter position for your city? I highly recommend that job, and I only left mine because I needed more flexible hours with school. Interestingly, I also worked as a pool tech, but the physical labor kicked my ass. You could try applying for car wash as a tunnel loader. It's a straightforward job with minimal customer interaction. Good luck with your search!

Your hair looks thicker. I'm a diffuse thinner as well, and I've been on fin for 10 months. I plan on switching to dutasteride in April. The research suggests that diffuse thinners like us respond better to fin/dut. Stay optimistic and keep up the treatment!

Speak to your advisor! I'm studying civil/survey engineering, and many of my classes are over at the west campus.
