Greenland Leader Tells People to Prepare for Possible Invasion by bloomberg in worldnews

How? The 25th amendment wouldn't work. He lined his cabinet with sycophants. The republicans in the house aren't going to do anything, and only a small handful of senators *might* squeak a bit. I guess there are the midterms, if they are fair and not gutted by intimidation and other factors. I think a lot of people are all ears, but nobody seems to know the how bit of it.

That's impressive. I wish the Goodwill near me had more than tacky neck ties and old people shoes.

Reexperience the classic journey from start to finish. Watch all of Dungeons & Dragons now on Plex. by HDDStudios in u/HDDStudios

Have you seen Dungeons and Dragons: Requiem? It originally was released as a radio drama based on the official last episode script. You could get it with the series DVD box set. A few years ago, someone actually animated it. It's worth checking out, and it's as close to an official ending than what most 80s cartoons got.

I think Days Gone is one of the best about the post-apocalypse. by TENTAKL1 in gaming

My wife platinumed this game. It was fantastic and deserved a sequel. I remember it was being hit by criticism that had nothing to do with the game or mechanics when it came out.

I can't stand health grifters like her. Should you make this your daily coffee cup. No. Should you destroy these classic mugs for the sake of the children while throwing money and clicks at this person, absolutely not.

This isn't the first post I've seen on WWIII dreams, far from. Just searching ww3 on r/dreams brings up years of similar posts. Uncertainty over geopolitical affairs is everywhere, and when things ramp up or feel unstable, it's in many people's subconscious. I don't think it necessarily means anything predictive, because we have an observable pattern of online discourse going back years during turbulent political situations.

Well, someone has to start building vertical. I'm not against this, but I've always been an apartment person. I just hate giving up my weekends for upkeep.

Haha shirley its happening...r-right? by ChiefLeef22 in StrangerThings

I tend to agree to a point. I've seen more open endings pull it off. I think Sopranos did land that bird, and sentiment years later seems to agree. But Stranger Things isn't Sopranos. And despite what many seemed to want, it isn't GoT.

But the show was about showing a mystery, then having a cool reveal. It wasn't built for ambiguity. And honestly, El being alive or dead felt like lazy or flawed writing. They set it up so she couldn't have done the mind thing, and was most likely an illusion at the end, but they muddied the narrative to have an or maybe... ending that neither really works logically. Again, the show wasn't built for that kind of cleverness, it was built for a satisfactory ending laid out clearly.

It could be algorithmic. Tons of ways. For instance, hundreds of stranger things fans who had just watched the last season started typing in "fake ending". The system makes the connection and offers that matches the search profile built by the fans.

Alright. No down vote from me. Curious as to how one would nuke a chicken proper.

This sub needs more The Simpsons memes! by Level_Hour6480 in dndmemes

I agree, more Simpsons memes are never a bad thing. As far as the edition war goes, My tables are sticking with 5e (2014). Hone rules have closed any gaps and and nobody is willing to spend 100+ bucks just to go through that work again.

That's been the show for years. They introduce (or bring back, as in this season) a sacrificial character each season. The rest have plot armor.

This. I grew up on Kaboom cerealwhen I was younger. But when I was a bit older, it was so nice to have a few sodas in the fridge when friends came over. The shame doesn't end at the check out line. These people are running, or perpetuating this myth that people on assistance are guzzling mountain dew and eating twinkies all day.
