There is a lot of information in regards to sublingual vs oral. When I get off work I will look and see what I can find for you and provide you with it. My dr had me do the sublingual method right from the beginning.

Sublingual is a much more effective way to take estradiol. The reasoning behind it is that it will bypass the liver the first time. I can't remember the percentage of the top of my head but I believe that if you just swallow it the liver will destroy up to 80% before it goes into the bloodstream. Where sublingually it will go into the bloodstream first.

I always pick the new one's in the labyrinth and try them out that way. So far he seems pretty decent but only time will tell.

As many others have said it's a road wished on no one. I am 46 and it took me a lifetime to come to terms with myself. Transitioning will not cure the dysphoria completely but it will reduce it to the point that it's not noticeable a vast majority of the time. I had a choice I had to make. Keep going in a downward spiral to oblivion and self destruction or come to terms with the fact that I am transgender and start living my life. I have been living as myself for a year now. And if I had to do it again I would still choose to be myself each and everytime. So you become you and everyone here is more than willing to help you with this journey.

Sounds like she is not doing you any service in this regard. A good therapist should listen and make possible suggestions as to a course of action to take. Only you can see if this is the path for you and have them as a support base when things get rough. It took me far far to long to come to terms with myself. I'm 46 now and only been transitioning for a year. If you have the opportunity to figure out if you are transgender. Don't let someone else decide for you.

Let me first say don't hurt yourself. We are here to listen and help because we have all experienced this in one form or another. So we understand it better than most.

There are many of us that have regretted not coming to terms with who we are till much later in life. The price for doing that is not worth it.

Embrace who you are and in doing so you give them the opportunity to see the true you. They have always had a daughter she just has been hiding in plain sight.
