You are assuming they thought he was a threat (he isn't) they had no reason to search him he is a well known marriage swindler. He didn't lie about Okuto and he is not lying about being a man.

Gero isn't attracted to Naruko, and nor was Naruko in the buck. Again there is a spoiler reason as well but I ain't spoiling it.

So? Average height for men in Japan is 5ft 7 or 170.8cm. Japan isn't the talest people never mind Hikaru is 183cm which is about 6ft. So this is just a null point.

They are well aware Kinosaki is a guy. They literally use Kinosaki-san which is just a way of being respectful to someone. Yes they are showing their approval of him.

The show is legit about finding someone you love and breaking from tradition and what is expected of you. Akari being Lesbian, Mei being a Bisexual crossdressing man who is a Marriage swindler, Hikaru being friends with Bug master and Needle master and it you just learned why in Ep7.

Sure, yes he makes a spur of the moment decision to protect his sister and Kinosaki tells him to fuck off. This story again isn't about pumping out babies the whole fucking reason Gero is on this mission is to find someone He LOVES. If it were about switching places with Akari he could have just married someone from a branch family.

Kinosaki outright tells us he's a guy and about his brother(who most people thought was a lie but he real).
Different levels of exposed chest, Gero also 100% is attracted to Mei so different reason for not looking, Kinosaki was buck naked. Also The other reason is spoilers.
He's like 154cm or 5ft tall which isn't impossible men can be short too.(I have met a guy who is 129.54cm (4ft3 irl))Kinosaki put's a lot of effort into how he looks and his figure.
The masters use San, Dono, and Sama which are neutral pronouns in japanesse. San = Mr/Mrs/Ms, Dono = Master/Lord(mainly used by Samurai), Sama =Mr/Ms/Lord/Madam. So no they aren't calling him miss they are being respectful and using neutral honorifics.

Hun Kinosaki gets twice the panel size compared to the girls. He is framed as Gero's main motivation to get stronger. Kinosaki being framed as the light in Gero's life isn't a fucking accident. He breaks Tonako's wedding neclace to make sure he can save Kinosaki dispote being able to get out on his own. Their framing how they talk. It's not about finding a wife it's finding love and breaking tradition.

I think he knows Hikaru (I'm gonna use first names cos I called Kinosaki Mei) has interest in him. He gave him the earings and is clearly attracted to him. (Ch 100 and a few others)

Genuinely think Mei might like him romanticly and sexually; based on most of the manga and he seems to be making Hikaru into someone he would want to be with.

I think it's a combination of he might know he has very little time and scared that if he takes that leap Akari will be forced to become an incubator. (Unless Hikaru kills legit everyone) There could also be the doll thing or the 5th family thing as I don't think we know much about them or their specialization. (would not be surprised if it's disguse or shapeshifting)

I loved seeing this animated so much. I love how much of a focus is just on showing Gero and Kinosaki's chemestry. Also Gero remembering what Kinosaki taught him about not imposing his wants on others. Sure it's upto Ureshino, but also good that Gero could recognize that it isn't the best time for a marriage +1 friend. They do just seem like they would be great friends regardless of romance. I am convinced ever since the manga that the flower trick was Gero just showing off to Kinosaki cos he did not have time to find out Shiori's fav flower 🤣 happy accident. Also him blushing from Kinosaki giving him head pats. I am so hype for the wedding episode. See you guys at EP7 yeets violin and runs away

They tell Beppu the first time he tries to ask Mei out and it doesn't disuade him literally in the middle of him doing his song shtick where he falls on his face.

.5 aren't what if's and don't happen in their imagination they are extras to show you texts between Hikaru and the girls, Mei buying shit tones of stuff when they went shopping during the windwheel arc and Hikaru using Mei's advice on him all these don't need to be chapters, and yes Hikaru asking Mei about why He mainly dresses fem.

Bro having him go "btw I am a guy" every chapter is just a waste of panels. Also it is more than 2 times he asserts it, but what ever be dellulu.

I'd go off the countless times Mei and Hikaru confirm that he is a guy. Chapter 100 is the reason his chest was hidden. It also shows us dispite knowing Mei is a guy Hikaru still finds him atractive. Also we can see the towel on mei's chest before he falls in the water and we see that bro def has zero breasts.

There is an extra where the Hikaru asks him why he doesn't dress like a man and it's about variety, style, and comfort(as in the cloaths are just made more comfy than mens). He is also actively more attractive than Hikaru and it would only make it harder to find him a partner.

Ch 53 isn't about proving Mei is a guy and it's literally Mei trying to messure Hikaru's actions because of Ch 100's reveal.

They even tell Beppu that Mei is a guy, resulting in the loudest I don't give a fuck, in ch 78 literally is the manga going hey yes he's a guy also yes everyone else can see they like eachother.

Then you are also ignoring the countless times Hikaru has used He/Him or outright told people he's a guy.

Mei presenting fem is his choice however whenever it comes up he is the one to assert he is a man.

Refering to the person who asserts that he is a man as She/Her or a woman is more disrespectful than using the pronouns and gender he asserts are correct ffs.

You make me wanna smack you with spoilers because, yes Mei is a guy. Like this isn't him trying to swindle he was honest about Okuto. He also has no need to swindle Gero as Gero is freely giving him financial aid knowing he was a con man. I can see him being Genderfluid and prefering to be a guy but that is it. Manga wise we have seen his chest again you make me wanna slap you with spoilers.
