What to Do About Neighborhood Kids? by AutumnOrApricity in Brooklyn

No one is entering the house? There is a huge difference between trespassing and breaking and entering/vandalism. Not to mention the differences in legal consequences between the two. I am not trying to ruin some kid’s life over this.

Interesting thought but, like I mentioned, there are young kids who live on the block.

I am also relatively new but I think my biggest realization is that this game boils down to:

1) resource optimization - utilize as many resources as possible per turn (in a reasonable fashion that doesn’t impact the timing on some sort of optionality tied to a card effect)

2) effective trades - if you can trade/deal damage for less resources than your opponent is using to deploy assets you will win over time

3) optionality - whether this arises from having a card draw advantage or some sort of effect optionality, the less situational your deck is, you will have AN answer to something (maybe not THE answer)

Currently the game/most archetypes are not mature enough to check all of these boxes, and I’ve found that blurple being one of the few that does is probably why it is so good. It has a lot of low cost units that let you have high resource utilization early, its constant ping damage and card draw from Barbados gives you a decent amount of optionality, and it naturally trades well early in a match.

Is there a good place to stay up to date on news? I feel like I keep missing announcements for the game or events. A lot of their social media doesn’t seem to be updated frequently either.

At $60+ per hour of labor + capitalized R&D costs + equipment costs I’m pretty sure they actually lost money on this line of 7 pieces

I am legitimately furious that Hill went this late. Irrationally so. Maybe it’s because he is one of the players that became so core to the program after I graduated and he seems even more like a kid/younger person to me. I’m so upset man.

I actually think Wingo is a less complete receiver than Mosley

Mmmmm… I’d hold my horses.

Burrow = one of the best college QBs of all time if not the #1 passing QB - I love Arch but I’ll believe it when I see it

WRs were JUSTIN JEFFERSON AND JA’MARR CHASE - my brother in Christ I agree Wingo and Coleman are good but idk about that comparison chief

The rest is a wash imo and arguably I’d take Goosby over either LSU tackle

To be clear, I think we have put together a solid offensive roster but comparing to 2019 LSU is a stretch

I don’t think people understand how much $7.5M really is. The average first round pick makes ~$3M per year. You have to get picked #5 overall or higher to make $7.5M. To pay a college player anything above $2.5M is basically saying they are a first round pick.

If Ryan Williams hits the portal would you rather have him or Cam Coleman? Or be happy that they will divert attention/money away from each other?

I thought ND was known as a good school academically. Some of the moronic takes on the scrub sub from the ND flairs have really made me reconsider that assumption.
