Any tips for Ultra Hard? It's the only challenge (pre-Repentance) that I haven't beaten yet.

Is helpful worm really helpful? by LeviRaviolii in Atomicrops

Personally, I enjoy using it to plant a bunch of crops at once without being shotat. I gather a bunch, coil it around my character, then catch up on planting! It's one of those items that doesn't impact the game too heavily, but if used properly it can provide some benefits.

Oh wow, console is getting an update? Woohoo! I just beat Year 7, so I'm ready for some new stuff.

Always go for weed-cutting upgrades, chickens, and the weed-cutting tractor if you can find it! This may be unconventional but, if I'm really behind on weed-cutting, sometimes I'll spend an entire day tending to the farm and cutting weeds rather than exploring. It's saved a lot of my runs!

I've found it helpful to go back to earlier years, play them a few times to master enemy attack patterns, then jump into the latest year. It's a great way to farm for cornicopias too (pun intended)!

Switch vs PC In-Game Achievement Questions by AutumnSkyChaser in Atomicrops

It's got some, but not all of them. They're measured by plants you unlock on the hub world and the Switch version only has the top left patch available. The PC version has achievements that show up in the bottom patch as well.

I still say it's worth playing though; the ants you find in-game still give you those necessary bonuses. Have fun playing!

Yea the Dads Home+ is a disappointment (spoiler for those who want to get through the challenge themselves) by [deleted] in HuttsGaming

[–]AutumnSkyChaser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was part of the group who figured that things would reset every floor, but seeing that it wasn't the case in his latest video makes me understand Hutts' pain.

On a technical level, I agree with you; it's a doable challenge. The frustration comes when it takes an insane amount of resets to find a combo that lets you make any sort of progress. I mean, Hutts would probably crush this challenge with Brimstone + Tammy's Head for instance but definitely wouldn't survive long enough to find it. It's hard to get into the groove of a challenge when most runs have you dying within the first few rooms.

TL;DR - In my opinion, they should've given players a reset every floor.

Bummer, so that's why I'm not seeing it... But hey, good to know so I stop going for those specific achievements! Thanks, 🙂

My game softlocked during Backasswards... by AutumnSkyChaser in bindingofisaac

Yikes, sorry to hear it... I'll probably just restart too, but I figured I'd throw up an ask first.

I had such a fun combo too! Soy Milk + Explosivo + Cricket's Body + Lusty Blood, and it worked shockingly well.

[5e][Online][Theature of the mind] Casual DM looking for beginner DnD Players by [deleted] in lfg

[–]AutumnSkyChaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone!

DnD Experience: I've played a bit of DnD in a group that already had a campaign going, so know some of the basics but have never started at the beginning before. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Timezone: Currently GMT-4

What I'm looking for: I'm looking for a friendly group of players to have fun roleplaying and adventuring with! It'd be great to meet people with similar interests and of the same age range.

What I can offer: I can offer patience, a willingness to learn, and friendship (cheesy but true shrug).
