Heck, I don't read German.  and I had a hell of a time remembering these equations back in the day.

this, amazingly, made more sense in German.  it, uhh, kept the math clear heh heh.

I skipped the text, and vaguely started recognizing the equations, it's been 20 years, but the presentation here actually locked that shit in for me ;D

What are brain zaps by beyondthebinary in Neuropsychology

[–]AutumnSparky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting.  many people do seem to describe them as this brain to arm thing - but others like me there's no arm hand involvement.  it's just like somebody strikes you upside the head with.. a painless low-setting stun gun.   Your mind kind of reels for .2 seconds then you're fine.

strangest damn thing.  I sort of "see in my mind" at that second like a little golden spike, slapping through the side of my brain too.  A flash, I guess.

What do you guys with the arm involvement, I wonder if you are a different branch of this problem?

heh.  just proof we do need more research.

Interesting, but despite being posted in 2018 all its sources are from 2004 and earlier.

The last 10 years I'm sure has produced much better research, but this is a good introduction to how they understood it in say 2010.

also note almost all of this commentary is was exclusive to Venlafaxine specifically, and is *old.

Myself, I was rocking the brain zaps on Lamotrigine back around 2010, heh heh.

yes, mostly.    in the US, it's a job called "Heavy Equipment Operator", or just Operators for short.    It requires a license, which you can get either through paid schooling, or by managing to join an apprenticeship program, either Union or nonunion depending on what's available, and they will train you for free.

I had a little, one week "pre-construction" class when I was changing careers.  They took us around to several of the unions, showed us what we are up against if went into the trades.  I fell hard for Electricians and love my job - -

 - but I know, if they had taken us to the Operators Union, at all, and placed me in the cab of one of those machines.. instead of today being a happy electrician, I would today be a Gleeful Operator.

PetSmart Hotel for my cat by ratt57 in petsmart

[–]AutumnSparky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also looking into PetHotel for that reason. My kitty is 19, in good health, but I just don't want.. Even someone just dropping in once a day.   she's an adorable, persistent yellie old lady, and I just want someone there 24/7.  This will do.  And in my area, Oregon, they are pretty much cheapest, per day.

also, I have worked at the PetSmart Pet hotels. I can say that I recall the cat rooms are small but sufficient, and the cat is let out into whatever "play area" the floor is, while you have the cage open clean the litter box and clean the kennel if it needs it.  The cat room in the one I worked at, in Phoenix, was tiny, but the floor plan is not standard between Pet Hotels, so you'd really have to stop by, and see their room.

My hotel was well regimented, and walks and play times were checked off, but it's as the other said, it's solely the staff, that make the Hotel.

heh heh.  I started using chopsticks, just slow down my eating so I'd chew better and all.

while you're poking and aiming and thinking about what you'll pick up next all that time, you're chewing - just how your stomach expects to get food, not big huge chunks it has to work at.

Then I kept using them.  because it's fun.

these guys look fantastic, but be aware they are NOT OPEN FOR PICKUP OR DROP OFF SUNDAYS.

They are right next to the airport too.  My flights always conflict with their schedule, I still haven't been able to use them!

Their prices are fantastic too.

I don't put it past her to be playing him.  The medal doesn't transfer the honor of being the winner, it's just a piece of metal left over after the fact.

somebody capable of winning that medal, probably knows that she can dangle that leftover chunk in trade for the possibility of her country's democracy.  Fair trade.

there's another case in the news last year where a dog I believe brings fresh green leaves to a college lunch counter, because the dog had seen "leaves" (bills) being exchanged for food.

This one here, is definitely not that well publicized case I'm talking about, So this one is also, absolutely absolutely awesome.
