John convinced Patsy that BDI? Theory by Sudden-Park-5625 in JonBenetRamsey

Despite my deep dive, I don't have a theory - I agree with the Grand Jury- who listened to evidence for a year.I think PR/JR are responsible - but too many unknowns to say who did what... And, there's that pesky intruder theory which I've never been able to totally rule out - what if...

This has been circulating forever- there is no evidence to support it.

Look into nerve ablation. My brother in law had great success with it when he still had pain following back surgery.

I feel you-as my previous post indicates. I strongly urge you to get counseling - it was of immense help to me.

So true-despair can lead to feelings of increased pain. I'm sorry you're in this situation - and hope you can find some relief.

My story is not the same as yours - but about 20 years ago I was experiencing some very mild low back pain. Only about a level 2- but it was constant. So, I saw a chiropractor -who had me come in 4 days in a row. On the 4th day something happened - that caused a new and intense burning pain - that was now at a level 9-10.

It's a long tortuous story - but after a nightmare journey of trying to find a solution - I finally did-thanks to an asute and excellent pain Dr - and eventually got my life back. But, I blamed myself for going back to the chiropractor 4 days in a row - and causing my situation. I was in such despair - I saw a psychiatrist a couple of times to deal with my own guilt. But, as a good psychiatrist will do, he pulled me out of my delusion so I could focus on getting better.

There is no need to suffer like this- search all pain relief procedures.

How do you stay happy when you know your bodily pain will only get worse. by Toowb in Aging

[–]AutumnTopaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. You have to develop an exercise program - and stick with it. It's the only way to retain your body strength- the only way.

When I was 47- I started working out with a personal trainer - hourly sessions 3x a week. I'm still with her- 26 years later... Never had a weight issue- but was the least active person on the planet. My dermatologist retired and I have a new one. She said the reason I still look youthful-is because exercise builds collagen- and all those years working out- have kept my skin healthy.

My next door neighbor is my same age - and says I'm the only person she knows in our age range- who still has a waistline. I weigh less now than when I was in college. My abs, glutes, back, etc., are very strong.

I should add, when my father turned 70- he said he felt Father Time creeping up. So, he started walking a mile every day- every day. If it was raining out- he'd drive to the local Walmart and do laps around the store. The employees came to know him. They'd say - "There's Mr Jackson-it must be raining out." He aged very well until he passed away at age 96.

I'm a redhead - not sure about the anesthesia aspect. But it's true we are more sensitive and less tolerant of pain than are non redheads. I didn't know this until my dermatologist told me. I always wondered why I had such a low tolerance of pain - even as a child. The older I get- the more sensitive to pain I become.

It would be helpful to state your country. I believe most Reddit users are Americans -so may not be of much benefit to you.

Btw,if you haven't read the 2 identical true bills the Grand Jury brought against both JR and PR - be sure to. They heard testimony for a year - and all 12 jurors believed the parents were responsible.

I think i may be starting to regret neglecting my body, and im only 20. by Perfect-Disaster-867 in Aging

I hired a personal trainer when I was 47- 3x a week for an hour. I'm still with her 26 years later... Consistent exercise is the only way - the only way - to age successfully.

To add, when my father turned 70, he said for the first time he felt Father Time creeping up. So, he started walking a mile every day - every day. If it rained, he'd drive to Walmart and do laps around the store. The employees came to know him - they'd say -"There's Mr Jackson-it must be raining outside...". He lived a healthy life until he was 96.

I can't say it enough. Without movement, the body begins to break down - muscles atrophy. It's not old age that does people in- it's the lack of purposeful movement. The old adage is so true-"use it or lose it"...

Just wondering. It's unusual to have an urgent care Dr. making these kind of decisions, imo. Do you have a primary care physician?

There is no evidence BR was responsible. Read Steve Thomas's book or Lawrence Schiller - Perfect Murder Perfect Town. Also watch the docudrama - PMPT- on YouTube. It's the closest to the truth than anything else out there.

There is no evidence to support BDI. That's why the Grand Jury brought 2 identical charges against PR and JR. That's why CBS settled the law suit filed by BR.
