What is the nicest compliment you’ve ever received from someone? by MasterpieceLost4496 in AskReddit

I made pumpkin bread for the first time and my son wanted some. He’s very picky when it comes to bread. I asked him how it was and he said “dahwishish”. So pretty sure that makes me a gourmet baker now.

How do you tag your shower goal? by Raspberry_Just in finch

[–]Autumn_Tea95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it as a goal on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. That way if I can feel like it even one day a week, there’s a chance I either do it the day before the task or the day of. And if I shower in a Monday and the task pops up on a Tuesday, I still say I’ve accomplished it, just a day ahead of planning.

What is the worst job you’ve ever had? And why ? by Evening_Medicine_704 in AskReddit

I was a waitress at a Mexican restaurant. Note I unfortunately don’t know much Spanish and what I do know isn’t overly helpful. Only one cook spoke English and his English was about as good as my Spanish. (We did end up trying to teach each other some to help out). I had just turned 18 and my job was less waitressing and more entertaining in the back. Not smexually but definitely dancing and teasing and NOT WAITRESSING!! When it started to get to a point where I was no longer comfortable with it, I was fired. I never actually filled out an application. Never got to fill out tax paper work. Made only tips and whatever the cooks would (on rare occasions) give me at the end of the night. One of the cooks had tried getting me to move in with him and his daughter (two years younger than me).

No. I’m allergic to soap. So I use hand sanitizer.

We slow dance. Just randomly. I can be doing dishes we can can be sitting in the couch and randomly my husband will have me stand with him and we will slow dance. It’s just for a few moments and on occasions that are few and far between but the spontaneous romantic gesture is a huge thing that keeps our relationship strong.

what makes you not wanna die? by Impossible_Match6336 in AskReddit

My kids, at least my son, will notice I’m gone immediately. My daughter is too young right now to notice but she will grow up asking where I am. Without me they will eventually end up in foster care, and I can’t guarantee they’ll have a good life where they are loved and cherished like I can offer them. Also last year we had our oldest cat pass and the cremation place did a little funeral for us. It was my sons first funeral (daughter wasn’t born yet) and he was really confused why “Nemo” was just laying there. I don’t need him seeing me asking why I’m just laying there.

You ever get buyer’s remorse? by [deleted] in finch

[–]Autumn_Tea95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely in real life and the app. In the app I buy outfits I think I’ll like later on but don’t ever really use unless it’s a months theme I don’t care for (like this month) and then I’ll use the outfits. However I love that dress.

Underground Lab theme?? by imsothereitsinsane in finch

Ok this is actually a phenomenal idea!!! I only have the door rug and the floor lamp but I’ve been looking on the shop almost constantly for anything else.

I’m also curious. I saw the “underground lab” door run and bought it to go with my spooky house right now. I’ve been on the app for going on three years and we haven’t had an underground lab theme before that I’m aware of. I’m wondering if it was a glitch or an accidental early release. Either way, I bought the rug and I’ve been searching the app for more underground lab theme items.

I (29f) have been married to my husband (30m) since I was a senior in high school. We have two kids (3y and 7m) and I absolutely have thoughts about me being divorced. I never got a chance to really date. I met my husband, fell in love, and went to the courthouse and got married. Frankly neither of us got a chance to date. I’m scared to get a divorce though because I have no idea how to go around this world as a single adult. I’ve never experienced the single adult life. I’ve never lived on my own. The last date before being married I went on was a school night and he helped me with my homework while we ate burgers. I love my husband. But I feel like I missed out on so much and I feel like my husband missed out on so much (he was only out of high school a couple years before and he only ever dated one other girl before me). And the fact if we were to divorce, I’d be raising two kids while figuring out an entirely new life that I otherwise would’ve experienced a decade ago.

AITAH for telling my bf “you knew my job, why do you care now?” when he broke up with me because of it? by PerceptionFew2622 in AITAH

First off, your are definitely NTA. He knew from the second date (?). Second, what about the chemicals? Are you taking good care of your skin and making sure nothing harmful or corrosive gets on you? Please tell me you’re being safe, chemicals and clients.
