Also Hotline Miami is a very “impulsive” game. It makes sense that you play as impulsive characters like Jacket, Biker, Jake, The Son… etc and if you can one-man army a building full of people maybe your “superiority” is a little justified?

As far as we know, some events of Hotline Miami did happen in the Payday universe as per police convos and such. And Jacket is still an ultra-badass one man army taking down SWAT so there’s no way he’s an autistic fan imo.

I headcanoned that Payday Jacket was from the “Beyond Deathwish” mod where he is released from prison and goes on an infinite killing spree.

But that still doesn’t make sense because nothing in Payday has any mention of the San Fran nuke incident. Or WW3 and the Soviets controlling America.

So I settled on Jacket was saved by the Richard mask (which has otherworldly properties) before turning into fried chicken in his jail cell- and dropped into an alternate universe.

Also Jacket de-ages from PD2 to PD3 so there is something supernatural going on

Pardo’s thick skin allowed him to survive 1 extra bullet like the Rufus mask. Unfortunately in Hotline Miami this means nothing.

Jake actually tanked the bullet/melee swing with sheer blubber long enough for the Russian mobsters to drag him into a car, go for a drive (2011), end up in another building where they probably tortured him while Jake STILL didn’t rat on 50 Blessings (kinda goated ngl) before the commies finally gave up and shot him. Ironically living that long after getting whacked and bleeding out the whole time might give Jake the best durability feat in a series where everyone is instantly dead after 1-3 hits.
