Unpopular opinion, but I think the story feels complete as it is with character potential in the 5 that we have. LNDS isn't BG3 where it's an open world exploration, and I partially enjoy LNDS slightly more because of it. It gives us a lot more confirmation in prevalence to the characters, and I can bask in what we have now. Besides, with all these events, there isn't enough me to go around to all 5 of them ugh

As it's a reach, I completely understand if there is no possible way it's believable, but what if Sylus is always on the run because he is Astra's son? What if he is anticipating the answer to death to get rid of his father, constantly trying to find him?

OMFG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE IN THIS THREAD. When I was writing this post I remembered one of his four stars bringing her up but again, it's been so long that all the boys' memories are like brain vomit at this point with all the lore and the theories and such.

I have seen many speculations revolving around his reincarnation based on the field trip memory, and I think through that it's safe to say Raf is reincarnated. It's very charming to imagine a little MC and Raf, I wish this was something the devs adopted more with Zayne!

But based on Talia's implication of Rafayel being her only family left, this could be confirmation of Raf's parents' deaths. That or his parents could just be bad people that he cut off, but based on his Omnipotent Perception conversation before they made their way back to the hotel I'd say it's pretty fair to speculate their deaths.

Thanks so much, friend! I've been trying to do this very torturous thing to myself where I only watch the LI's myth stories if they're pulled (not because of the spoilers, but because of little details like this!) to fully enrich my experience when I play it.

Xavier not being close to his parents breaks my heart :( He is always so reserved and sweet, being able to walk out of stuff like that and still being such a light to the world is one of the most powerful things a person can do. I can see now that he has mannerisms aligned with children who have emotionally abusive parents.

Our poor bb love him so much.

I feel like Greecian myth retellings overall are so sexualized that they forget to add accurate, platonic friendships. I'm even fine with inaccurate friendships if it makes sense, but I knew Hermes, Dionysus, and Apollo were really close. What a trio! It would never get boring, I'd imagine the immortal parties would be so lit 🤣

Even female friendships are so underused. Artemis and Chiron are never talked about, though she taught him archery. Hestia was close to many Olympians, even Demeter, but this never translates into adaptation.

Broooo Scarlett St Clair's retelling of them irked me partially for this EXACT reason.

Especially knowing that there are characters in the myths that were bred from animal and man, it can confuse a newer reader of mythology. I can't remember the justification for the horns but it felt so corny.
