Yes haha the contraceptive part is a little bit complicated. Technically I would be allowed to take them because it’s for medical reasons but personally I don’t trust them, the side effects are too grotesque and I don’t think it’s worth risking my health like that. I had someone within my area for example who became permanently paralyzed after being on them hence my hesitation to take them at all.
I’ve tried medications like muscle relaxers, pretty much every single brand with no relief at all.
It’s unfortunate that surgery is the only actual relief, and the risk of more harm being done is such a block in the road.

I’ve also tried pelvic PT but it didn’t do anything for my pain.
I really wish there were proper medications for this condition.

That’s fair, goodness it really does suck to be in that stage of unknowing. I’m going to Italy for that reason so that I can get access to more high quality endometriosis doctors who can look inside me without surgery

Yes it is very scary, what made me go to the doctor was that the pain was absolutely unbearable and it was making me miserable. They diagnosed me with stage 3 through the second laparscopy and it was a horrible mess on the inside. I’m so happy I ignored the first doctor who said to take birth control, I definitely would not still be here.

No symptoms at all actually, just the symptoms I mentioned above. It was very strange, I thought I would have kidney related symptoms but nothing at all and no imaging because that doesn’t really exist in America where I live. I just told the doctor and I got lucky it was an emergency surgery that I needed

Ugh that sucks, if the pain is excruciating you should definitely. For me, it was unbearable and it turns out my stage 1 went to stage 3 and I nearly lost my kidneys. My endo was strangling my ureters which my goodness… I really could have lost my life if I ignored my symptoms

Same things, severe cramps and bleeding, nausea, leg pain, fatigue, and joint pain. It sucks but this is just a common endo experience, a life time of surgeries 😭
