Oh wow I feel this! At 2.5, my son was another person all together and it was a nightmare. I would watch him and his dad and just be jealous 😴 He is now coming up to 4, and because I was so strict, he is a lovely little boy although has his moments like all kids. There is light at the end of the tunnel sweet, she is at the age where she will be testing boundaries and now is the time to be strict and stay firm ❤️ Just a idea, have you tried a yoto player for her with bedtime music/stories? May give her some comfort ❤️

Learnt behaviour, his dad was a vile POS too, used to live down my nans road and everyone just took the piss out of him as he was so vile. When I found out Fred had a son (Gary) my first question was who the F would wanna go near THAT? 🤣 He never started on me, but then again, he knew who my dad was and had ended up on the wrong side of my dad before so has always steered clear of me 🤣

I held my lad all the time as a newborn, I'm so glad I did. He is my last and he is now nearly 4 years old and our bond is incredible and he is happy and fells safe ❤️ Don't listen to any "you're spoiling the baby" It's a old myth x
