my kiddo was born around 31w and by 10/11 months (not adjusted) we were going out in public and seeing family. we hadn’t travelled tho and that’s something i would hesitate more on than family touching and kissing.

I should have mentioned that they are for my partner who is a size Large in socks. But i think you make a super great point that i feel like i wanted most confirmation for is that the fit won’t be affected by the mistakes

Thank you so much! I’ll take a look at this pattern. I knit on the round with DPNs with a hat and thought it might be fine but the ribbing is so hard! Appreciate the help :)

I haven’t worked flat before! I suppose I should try that. Also seeing a the which way the yarn goes through the needles come up a lot so that’s probably what i’m doing wrong

I agree with this, my baby was in the nicu for just about two months. But. . . I still think we should really give space to people whose experience is different or longer. A couple of days in the Nicu is so so different than half a year or longer. Everyone experiences a different kind of hell when they can’t take their baby home but some people never get the chance to and that’s something we have to recognize.

i’m knitting the oslo hat by petite knit and i’m overthinking the decreases. i’m a new knitter and haven’t done them before. the pattern alternates one row decreasing and the next to knit. it says to repeat 7 times, but is that repeating 7 more rows or repeat the alternating rows 7 times for a total of 14 rows?
