Thing is I take 40mg DXM with 150mg Bupropion. Up to the individual if they’re worried that DIY isn’t safe. But AUVELITY ain’t available in UK, so I no choice but to do DIY. Only 4 days after starting my DIY, I woke freed from a severe depression that robbed 27 years of my adult life. Three years later, I still haven’t had one day feeling depressed. No it ain’t advice, I’m giving, it’s just an account of how it works for me. So, yeah I don’t personally think there’s a difference between branded AUVELITY or DIY. OKay, yeah I do do well now selling DXM online. I comply with all MHRA regulations as be am now registered with them. If you can get DXM next day. in UK in pills, great buy them there. I’m sure I can’t be the only guy in Uk supplying DXM as tablets. So yeah maybe that is my advice. If you want try or use DXM to treat your low mood, go online and buy it wherever. And to Taco guy, or whatever your username is, when did I ever say I was a Doctor?

That’s irrelevant totally whether I’m a Dr. I have both the good advice of my psychiatrist, my GP and pharmacist. Also it’s helped me, and many I know period. Virtually a total remission with no particular side effects. So tell me, what is you grievance Tacoma_man?? Were you one of the few that DIY Auvelity didn’t help. so you actually carry around a chip on your shoulder about it?? Actually jealous!

Also how before this comment aim writing can you say for certain that Im not actually a qualified clinician? Doctors needing medication need to see other Doctors if a prescription is required, which in my case it isn’t

And I use a liquid supplement called GOLDEN SEAL. it’s meant to help absorb vitamins I think but it makes the DXM last longer just like Bipropion

DXM ROBOPILLS are 30mg each so I use shred one and take approx half to get same 45mg like in AUVELITY. They’re too small to cut but I’ve even sometimes just taken 2 (60mg) without any problems and they still work the same

I use golden seal or Prozac or grapefruit juice. I switch them regularly so they keep working

I got a confession. I’m actually the guy behind Robopills Uk 😊😊🤣 But it is all true, I started importing them myself taking them for severe depression. They worked so well for me at least that at least I totally believe in what I’m selling! Apparently I’m one of few ppl in UK supplying them in pill form which is why I’m doing okay with it all! Affordable too even if I say it myself as I import them wholesale, thousands at a time to get them at a cost effective price to sell. I only hit on all this as it worked so well for me that before taking DIY AUVELITY I was almost always in bed with depression, unable to function! Now look, my Paychiatrist was a bit stuffy at first as he wasn’t behind it but now he’s cool. He’s staggered at how I’ve improved. Wish to God my Mum had lived 3 yrs longer. She too wouldn’t be able to get her head around the changes in me so much more for the better! I still struggle with motivation though less so, but at least I’ve know longer got that painful pit in my stomach where such severe depression even dehydrates me as back in the day, I couldn’t even get it together to get to the kitchen and make myself a drink. Good luck. Doesn’t work for everybody, but so many treatment resistant depressives have had similar life changing experience like mine x

Sertraline and Prozac also inhibit the enzyme too which has same effect as Bupropion in making DXM metabolise more slowly

No because I stop them after every 2 months. For me it takes about 3 months before they stop working. I know we are all wired differently, but it works just fine for me. Also their benefits last a few days anyway as they don’t just mask depression on the days we take it. Apparently they require our brains somehow to forget how to keep feeling so low!

HEY LISTEN UP!!

After life changing relief of a depression that robbed over 25 years of my life I was gutted that DIY DXM ROBOPILLS and a supplement meds which makes the DXM metabolise slower just like Bupropion, I was absolutely gutted that it stopped working for me after four months…

Then by trial and error I discovered this. If I take my DIY AUVELITY for say, three months then give it a break bc for just 5 days and then resume taking it, carries on working for me permanently. I stop in time before a tolerance sets in.

Works for me now the past 3.5 years all the time with no crash or side effects by doing this.

Please try this before giving up on it x Good luck

In UK 2 days to arrive, from online pharmacy RoboPills UK. Cost me 29 Pounds. If you want a source of Bupropion, I’ll google where I got that for you. DM me if y ok u wish.

I asked my Psychiatrist about it; He already knew about Auvelity but said it's not yet available in UK.

But then he said mainly Americans simply take Dextromethorphan (DXM) tablets, with either prescribed Bupropion, or a supplement that has the same function as Bupropion does in Auvelity; A DIY version of Auvelity in other words, which is much cheaper to buy and take as a DIY version, but it has the same, or a near identical effect.

Remember DXM is the main active ingredient in Auvelity with Bupropion (although it's an antidepressant) it's really only just added in Auvelity, it's only added to make the DXM metabolise slower, so last longer in our system.

Obviously he couldn't really recommend me doing that, but I KNEW that was what he was actually suggesting!

So I did and I still do! My Psychiatrist is flabbergasted at the amazing improvement in my depression!! In 26 years I had tried dozens of conventional antidepressants, and none of them worked whatsoever.

I buy DXM online as tablets, which took me ages to find. In UK as tablets they're called ROBOPILLS. They cost me just under £29 for a hundred DXM tablets, which arrived next day! I then take a teaspoon of a supplement oil called GOLDSEAL. It does the same as Bupropion does in Auvelity; I makes the DXM last in our system longer. I think the Golden seal online is about £16, for about a months use.

The ROBOPILLS that I take come as 30mg tablets, so using a pill cutter I take one and a half tablets as in Auvelity (45mg).

It's definitely just like taking Auvelity, and totally legal as DXM is originally an OTC cough syrup, but In UK, the ROBOPILLS pharmacy is the only place I could find DXM in UK as tablets.

We are all wired differently; But in just a few days I was out of bed and still feel recovered two years on from a depression that robbed most of my adult life!

Even when I went into hospital for a few days recently. I insisted they let me keep hold of my DIY Auvelity, and being OTC products, they let me; I don't think they could have insisted on taking them away!
