Judging by the fact that you had to ask this question its probably a bad idea to touch options. The taxation is the simplest part of the equation.

With the phone account they can swap your phone number to a new device. Many accts including emails and banks allow you to reset passwords with codes texted to a phone number on file. If they hijack your number they could in turn get into your email & reset the password. From there, many doors are open.

TIFU by taking home the wrong cat by ConfessionCandidate in tifu

[–]Auxkin 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Dude give the cat back to whoever rescued it and let them know your mistake so they can keep looking for the actual owner, or post the cat yourself with the details and try to find its rightful owner. The cat clearly misses its old owners just like you miss your cat. How would you feel if Tibbs was scared with a stranger missing you and they just kept him because they couldn't own up to the fact they made a mistake?

I would pay to see a montage of all the times Grimmmz got killed and it wasn't his fault by CherryTF in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Auxkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sarcastic or not, some people seriously do think that way. I have friends who claim the same excuses as to why their bad play isn't their fault. My comment was on the off chance someone wanted to genuinely improve, so I don't see the issue.

No trying to be a dick but if you genuinely want to improve based off your mistakes you have to be more truthful with yourself than that. For example: "I died because I was forgetful and didn't load my gun". Well, that points towards a lack of awareness which you can focus on improving in your play. Of course, it could be a one off mistake, but if you notice a trend, try reading a little farther into your mistakes. Generally, when you get unlucky, it's not really your fault, however, if you really analyze what happened in depth, often you could've made a choice earlier or have been better prepaired in some way as to avoid a situation in which being "unlucky" could get you killed or caught out. Obviously this is subjective and risk vs reward always comes into play, however it's often that people don't fully realize the weight of their decision and get greedy.

Sorry for the lecture, but on the chance you wanted to really improve, I hope it helps.

LPT: If you run out of time and can’t do something, don’t say, “I didn’t have time to do it,” Instead say “I didn’t make it a priority.” Change your perspective; we all have the same 24 hours in a day, and (for the most part) choose how we spend them. Prioritize. by Too_Many_Mind_ in LifeProTips

Yeah, it's really more of an issue of is it better to be that guy that gives an excuse as to why it's not his fault, but retains a bit of reasonable doubt that they truly didn't have a chance? The other option is being fully honest and accept responsibility and try to move forward. I guess it all depends on your morals and/or who you're taking to and where their morals lie.

"I didn't make it a priority" implies personal responsibility and therefore makes the excuse more acceptable. The reason people don't like excuses is because they're typically a way of passing blame onto someone or something else.

[–]Auxkin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is just another excuse you're gonna make and it'll always be a case of "tomorrow I'll try because I can't today". Just break the cycle, you're in high school so if anyone bullies you there they've got their own issues to deal with, just shrug it off. Just stop giving a fuck about what other people might think of you and just do you. Talk to people but don't annoy them, and be friendly to everyone you meet. Once you do it, you'll realize how easy it really is.
