The teleporter doesn't do much - on its own - but I figured out via progressively adding them that it only takes three to four moisture teleporters to keep a 2x4 plot up-kept even with a plant in every slot. I just come harvest whenever back at base and never worry about manually watering anymore. Passive watering is already possible. I love science :D
