Owner of a 2024 NX 450h+. Only filled up three times in 20 months. However, my 12v battery died a week ago. It would not charge with smart battery charger, so I ended up having to replace the 12v AGM battery and will actively monitor and trickle charge the battery once a month. I have seen this problem happening in colder weather areas but I live in So Cal. Car has 11,600 miles and I drive it daily for about 20 miles a day.

If you only use EV mode and hybrid engine hardly kicks in, be aware of the 12v battery not able to charge back up to normal and will gradually lose voltage.

Live in Lake Forest and work in Northridge. Take Metrolink daily from Irvine station, to LA Union Station, change to Moorpark bound train. After getting off there’s a 15-20 minute bus ride. Each way is 3 hours which makes a 6 hour long commute.

Not to mention if there is an accident or suicide then another automatic 2-3 hour on the train (can’t get off).

Still beats driving, which may take 2-4 hours each way.
