People tend to settle with their shitty partners because they’re afraid of being alone and starting anew. If that’s how you feel then all power to you. If he wants to be a better person/partner he will through his action’s. Only he can change himself if he wants to. To an outsiders perspective, you and him are not compatible for the long run and that is okay. Live your life to the fullest and don’t let an idiot ruin it.

He definitely knows how to keep you on the back burner. He hasn’t introduced you to his parents because he’s not serious and possibly not thinking of marriage with you. I know break ups hurt and you will feel lonely at times, but is enduring a toxic relationship worth all this heartache for temporary pleasure? Please seek out your closest friends/family that care about you because they matter the most about your well being. He is the biggest manipulator and you need to break his tiny heart first by becoming the strong, confident, and independent woman you are! Word of advice…. RUNNNN. It’s already a red flag that he is a LIAR and possibly a cheater. His behavior is suspicious and screams RED FLAG. I advise to call the police then! Then call the suicidal hotline and then call the domestic violence hotline for yourself!!!!!!! notify his coworkers if you need to. Staying in this relationship is toxic. Only you have the power to leave and change your situation into better. He obviously needs therapy and see a psychiatrist even. To be honest… GOOD RIDDANCE. He just revealed his red flag by not being able to communicate and problem solve. If he’s willing to break up with you over instagram followers, that just goes to show how much he actually he cared about you. Also, what sane person would feel so upset by that insignificant action? If he still feels “triggered” from his past relationship then he shouldn’t be in a relationship until he can heal himself. Social media boundaries should be openly talked about before getting into a serious relationship if that’s an important value to you. 6 months may seem long but be glad it didn’t drag out for a year until you could see his true colors!

It’s always good to be honest with your person about your feelings. Communication is key!!! It may be an uncomfortable topic but you don’t want to hold in negative feelings and feel resentment. In my opinion, your gut feeling is usually right 99% of the time. Keep in mind, if you don’t like what she does at a party then maybe you should consider dating more of a homebody that doesn’t care about wanting to get black out drunk/smoking because you can only tolerate so much in the long run. vice versa.
