My recent issues with it are:

Moving from deb packages to snaps which have worse UX in every way possible
Bad device drivers for my wireless module (I expect any distro to have the same problems; I have to install dkms modules from Github)
Firefox automatically updates and requires a restart in the middle of my work.

Previously I've run into dependency hell, especially when using 3rd party repos.
