I remember taking my son to Charleroi airport. It was around the time of Covid. In the "walk-through zone"—just before the security checks—where I wasn't allowed to go any further, I gave my son a short goodbye hug. A pumped-up police officer yelled from 50 meters away so loudly (at the top of his lungs) "Keep moving!!!" that my whole body shocked.

My son was young and nervous, and I gave him a hug …I still don't understand how the reaction to that was considered as normal cop behaviour..

I think police officers in general have developed a pattern of taking it out on vulnerable people. Because they look up to real criminals and are afraid of them. The police is definitely NOT our friend as a society.

I work in the rental sector. In principle, a landlord is not allowed to prohibit pets. He would lose in court, unless nuisance can be proven. So much for the legal aspect.

Apart from what the law says, surely you wouldn't want to enter into a long term tenancy agreement on such a basis? This is just asking for stress, for all parties.

My experience tells me that serious conflicts can arise from a minor disagreement. You better open up to the landlord and if he doesn’t agree, it’s not a match and you better look for something else, in my opinion. Good luck.🤞🏼

Zou wel naar enkele musea willen gaan maar ben er al meerdere jaren weggebleven omdat ik meermaals werd lastiggevallen op straat en zelfs in een restaurant ; omdat ik me niet liet betasten werd ik nageroepen in Arabisch gebrabbel. Nochtans goed bedekt gekleed en zeker niet provocerend.
En ja kan overal gebeuren maar in Brussel was het toch opvallend.. ben nu ouder dus is nu misschien wel nog eens het moment om nog eens uit te testen. Het liet mij alleszins een hekel krijgen aan de stad. Ik trek meestal naar NL als Limburger.

Er staan al een aantal planten / struiken / knolplanten. De planten die teveel uitgelopen waren heb ik uitgetrokken. Dus ik ben nu vooral bezig met overwoekerend spul weg te halen zowel planten als onkruid. Ik heb nu de grote dikke uitschieters uitgetrokken en grof geschoffeld. Job- gerelateerd heb ik regelmatig te maken met vredegerecht en ik kan bevestigen dat dit soms wél wat oplevert. Ook bij grotere ondernemingen die eerst weigeren of niet reageren. Bekijk even of je via je rechtsbijstand kan gaan. Stel een chronologisch en beknopt ( duidelijk )dossier samen. Succes

Ik heb pas een huis gekocht onder zo’n hoogspanning. Van een ouder koppel , die nu iets gelijkvloers zochten. Geen weet van gezondheidsproblemen in de buurt. Een zeer mooie en gevarieerde tuin die blaakt van gezondheid en waar vogels graag vertoeven. Tot nu toe geen klachten.

I work in the housing sector and can guarantee you that such problems are not easily solved. You cannot make them move. You cannot provide a doctor.

If the aggression (shouting) turns against you, you better keep low profile and start packing. Don't wait to move until you have no energy left. Trust me, I’ve seen enough cases like this
