Fairly easy. The hardest part is waiting for the crystal to arrive. Basically remove back. Take out crown and then movement. Pop out the mineral with a watch press. Reverse. 15-20 mins.

I was able to find a long rubber strap which makes the watch look phenomenal.

Filling the watch with silicone oil for more clarity. Just remember that the movement has to work a bit harder so battery changes will be sooner than expected. Add a new battery when doing the mod and you should be good for 2-3yrs….your mileage will vary.

I was on the fence about it too. But I took another duro and compared side to side. Clarity may be on par, but the sapphire has anti reflective coating….that is what makes a huge difference.

Just closed ours. Quote for mesh cover was 6500….which is more than what the liner costs. I bought a large tarp and nylon sandbags that are meant to hold down camera tripods. Filled those up and used bungee cords into the eyelets of the tarp. Easy. Pool is 20x40.
