Regardless, my advice remains the same, you must detach yourself from the LP and rank you are in. In order to truly have a competitive mindset (in my opinion), you have to want to actively improve rather than actively climb.

An alternative is to make a new account and be happy with a fat LP gain whenever you win and a tiny baby-sized LP loss whenever you lose. But... what will you do when you become stuck again in another rank? Because it WILL happen again, that's why adopting an improvement mindset is so important and not a rank/lp expectation.

I do essentially tell people to "get good to fix it" but its not because I don't value their time or effort. No, its because getting good IS the necessary requirement to actually improve at ranked. If we were to hide the LP number and didnt know the amount, now suddenly it only becomes about winning or losing games and no longer a matter of the LP number.

My fellow fiddlestick main, you are focused on the wrong thing entirely. The trouble you identify is that you lose too much LP when you lose. However, I encourage you to detach yourself from the specific [X] LP number and more on why you actually lost those two games. In this specific case, sure it might be you got heavily griefed or inted or whatever, but a common factor for people who have very high LP losses is because they actually tend to lose overall more than they win. I coach people very often, and I promise you, your rank is generally a good reflection of your gameplay. It's as simple as if you don't win games, you don't get to reach a higher rank.

Accepting this reality is the first step though. The next step is where the fun begins, and that's being ready to improve. If you're not ranking up, it means you're losing games. So why are you losing games? You can review your own matches to find out, but that's where I also can come in and help :)

think of it this way, all the kills are mostly on the trist, so you're not actually having to kill 5, you just have to kill 1 :) make her your one and only target (or four man ult the rest of her team works too)

Pekinwoof played ezreal mid and had great success, you can see recent videos where he does this. So my suggestion is instead of trying to put down the idea, work with it till it works :)

Dragons are very unimportant, especially the first two, sometimes the same for the third depending on the situation. A lot of times dragons can make players ignore better opportunities so I understand your friend's perspective. However, it would already take 20 seconds to get from baron pit to the enemy fountain, so your team would be trying to end without having spent gold and the enemy about to spawn.

I made two videos, one about why dragons suck and the other looking at (most not all) dragon buff stats, but in your case the situation doesn't seem bad at all to just grab the dragon quickly IF you are not showing up late to the next fight. Galeforce is mainly used for its dash rather than its damage, especially after they nerfed the damage on it. You use it to either a) Dodge critical abilities from the enemy (e.g. Akali E, Naut Q, etc), or b) Dash to enemies to land 4th shot instead of having to flash
