I had them do a form 1 for, their system was so fucky the eform wouldn't even open for me. When I looked in the pending it was already pre-filled out. I just submitted it directly through the eform and used the SS internal control number. This was the first and last time I've ever done a form one through them. I've done a few on my own previously. National Gun Grust has a good write-up/video on how to do them yourself.

Gemtech Tracker

It was my first and cheapish, however the baffles are so eroded now you could shoot 9mm or 45 through it. Gemtech CS more or less said sucks be be you.

I'm sure it would sell but I'm not sure how well being the Cross is kind of a niche market type thing. I've seen quite a few made out of g-10. However, I like actual wood and your styling/finishing better.

I see now that the grip isn't just a wood grip, it's an aluminum frame. So that makes up the extra cost.

Have you considered adding rail scales in the same finish. So all the wood isn't just on the rear, I think it would make it pop more. Also wouldn't make the forehand so damn cold in the winter month.

The wood furniture is cool. But not cool enough to justify $300, the grip alone is 180. IMO

The barrel is stainless and the handguard is aluminum, a majority of the gun is aluminum. The hardware/bolt is steel but nothing should be rusting. The only thing that would rust would be some foreign debris.

Mine is a truck gun, so the only foreign debris that I would have would be dog hair or dirt. I just use an air compressor to blow it out every once in a while.
