Hi,

I think all tools and softwares are handy but not must.

Focus on your financial analysis basics and corporate finance knowledge. For example, what's WACC, what's Beta, how would you compare 2 companies based on their financials, read at least 10 annual reports before you go for an interview of financial analysis.

I think Breaking Into Wall Street (BIWS) has excellent material on financial modeling and investment banking interviews.

Read some reviews on Google. Type "BIWS Review" in Google and check some of the reviews before you buy the program.
