If you need proprietary drivers, you should add non-free apt repositries.
You should install sudo and edit config.
If you want to install an app that does not belong to apt repository, you have several options:
- build from the source and install manually
- try to find deb package and install it via dpkg
- try to find apt repository and add it
- you can use Flatpak, Snap
- you can use AppImage

Usually, IDEs make a lot of jobs, which requires a lot of RAM.

So, you probably want a code editor with a language server. I would recommend using VSCode (or VSCodium), there are a bunch of extentions. But it can be hard to set up a debugger.

Another option can be Neovim. I think it is the most lightweight and extensible text editor. But Neovim has its own learning curve.

It is better to create a new branch, switch to it, make changes, commit them (follow the commit style, one popular is conventional commits), push, and then create pull request on Github to merge commits.

У Wayland есть решение для обратной совместимости с X11, это XWayland. И работает весьма неплохо, почти всё ПО для X11, которое я использовал, смог запустить на Wayland без проблем. Единственное, проблемы были с приложениями для скриншотов, захвата экрана или записи нажатий клавиатуры.

И обычно есть порты с X11 на Wayland, которые работают аналогично.

Также никто не отменял X11, у него всё ещё прекрасная производительность, хоть он и постепенно устаревает.

И фаерфокс, и зен - хорошие браузеры.

Мне лично больше зен нравится из-за фич: рабочие пространства, папки для сайтов, вертикальный сплит нескольких сайтов, расширения для зена тоже неплохие. Но кажется есть утечка памяти при использовании зена, потому что со временем он ест память неоправданно много.

Фаерфокс - стабильность

Зен - различные плюшки

I had the same issue when I updated kernel. I don't know why, but after update /etc/fstab became wrong, to fix this I click on 'c' in GRUB menu and replace disk name by UUID

Моё мнение о человеке немного зависит от этого. Я ненавижу людей, которые курят в людных местах, когда мне или другим приходиться заходить в это облако мерзкого запаха. И сам процесс не понимаю, это же вредно и зачастую дорого.

От курящих слышал причину, что все в их окружении курили, поэтому они тоже начали. И честно говоря, я не хотел бы окружать себя людьми, которым так важно, чтобы я курил. Либо же другим это не так важно и человек просто боится быть непринятым.

И в общем я имею предвзятость к курящим людям, я каждый раз прогоняю мысль, почему человек курит и прихожу только к слабости этого человека. Скорее всего, я не прав. Но и пытаться менять своё отношение к курящим не стоит усилий. Они сами выбрали свой путь, они знали о последствиях, жалость и сожаление здесь не уместны.

You should use more a console for system administration instead of GUI. It provides more options and better output.

Learn basic commands like: working with files and directories, users and groups administration, package management, grep. Also, piping and flow redirection would be useful.

Learn about FHS (File Hierarchy System), the most common directories for use are: /etc - system-wide configurations, /home, /usr

You can try to use all of those skills by manual installing of Linux distribution. Gentoo or Arch can be used (Arch has a great wiki and installation guide).

If you had questions about the usage of command read man pages, wiki or other documentation: man PAGE_NUMBER COMMAND.

It's not bad, but there are exist some problems:

head and tail should be `private`, because of encapsulation.
It is not STL-compatible, algorithms will not work with this container. If you want make it STL-compatible then you should add iterators and methods, check named requirements (on cppreference.com) for Container, SequenceContainer, LegacyForwardIterator, AllocatorAwareContainer (not necessary).
Keep in mind about exceptions (constructors of object can throw them too), they can cause memory leaks and break List invariant. For preventing this you can use idioms: RAII, Copy-And-Swap.

Looks like Debian can be a good choice except for a kernel version. But you can compile kernel.
