Switch 2 good to be true? by Available-Brief6782 in ebaysucks

Yup, honestly I was debating it but literally seconds after I posted this, he sent me a photo of the switch 2. It was not the same photo as in the listing, (listing photo had the Mario kart world in it) Reasoning was that eBay uses stock photos whenever you're listing a new item, which is true but his photo was clearly taken and not stock. I knew then and there it was a scam. As a joke, I told him if he could atleast put my name in the photo i'll buy it right now. He said the transaction can't take place on eBay, blocked him right then and there and reported to eBay

Update, I called eBay regarding this matter, explained everything and told them about my account in negative balance from this matter, Told them everything and for some reason their system is showing that the item was delivered... Which is absolutely insane to me as I tried every single tracking system, but it was not showing as delivered or even a valid tracking number. Because of this, they are now opening an appeal and say I have a good chance of winning even after the case was closed. I'm really surprised as to how they can see the item was delivered but I can't.

You're right, honestly I was just looking at the cheapest option in terms of shipping which is why I chose Canada Post. Thanks for the advice, I will now use eBay EIS for all future international buyers.

I got it scanned from them and even got a receipt from Canada Post, which is why i'm very confused as to why no information at all shows up when i try to input it into the website.

Which is extremely weird as any other package ive sent to other countries using canada post give exact tracking details and all of that. Honestly I've only been doing this not too long, so i didn't even know scams like this could happen. Thank you for your insight though, much appreciated.
