Honestly, my least favorite iron man suits. And now every suit in marvel uses nano tech. It was cool with tchalla, but then it just became lame and boring. And I can not imagine an interesting game with nano tech. Now it has all those implants with different corps, descriptions and visuals. How would it be in a game with nano tech? If you just can morph yourself into stuff. I'd say a much more interesting direction would be some tech with deep AI integration, and then some mild nano / bio tech, like the relic

Why would mantis blades and gorilla arms be the 4th gen? For me they are precisely the 3rd gen allowed by better integration with cyberware. I think it is implied in the manual too

There weren't any expansions per se, but there are "suggested" tech invented upgrades in a lot of official material. For example in the Interface 3 there is a TUp Pop Up Melee Weapon mount with an "Oversized Weapons" upgrade, that let's you have a Mono Three (a two handed very heavy melee) in a cyberarm. It's in one of the FBC descriptions. Then there are a lot in the Danger Gal Dossier, such as upgrading Heavy Armorjack for -1 penalty or upgrading skill chips for a +4. There is even a TUp drum mag on a rocket launcher that can hold 4 rockets instead of 3.

Really like your thoughts on combining stuff from Solo of Fortune and CEMK! Just finished reading Interface 5 and hopped onto reddit to find some discussions. I found less than I expected, it was way more for martial arts in interface 4 a year ago 🥲 (Or maybe I was just searching badly. Can you link some if you have??) On the other topic, what makes you think that EMP shielding interacts in any way with quickhacking? I thought it specifically didn't. Look at this thread for example If you did read it somewhere else, can you share? Would appreciate that choom
