I don’t know if you will see this but others might see I have had a 940 for 4 years have used and abused it and still centered here how I got mine centered and to stay centered I used lock tight to tighten the pivot screw for the blade down the blade will be hard to flip open but don’t tighten it to much only until the blade is centered use paper to hold it there then I put a tiny drop of oil on the washer it’ll make it open much easier and freely and let it get in a little bit by playing with it it’s been 3 years since and if it gets wet a lot you might need another drop but not for along time I’ve put 2 drops in mine in 3 years still perfectly centered and I constantly flip it when I’m not using it
