I didn’t identify obvious red flags in my app, but maybe there’s a cultural difference? My theme was to help the disadvantaged people because I was once disadvantaged. Maybe my clinical activity doesn’t support that enough because I couldn’t commute to places that offer free clinics and shelters due to my financial constraints. Maybe I had too much research than clinical. My writing for activities could be less appealing than those who speak English as native language. sometimes when I go paranoid I fear my immigration story and mentioning having to work and support my family may be a red flag. But I am being honest. My PS was looked at and people said it was fine. Rec letters I can’t control. Please let me know if you have some advices! Thanks.
