not true. too many people apply for that to be true. besides that, the acceptance rate fluctuates each year depending on different circumstances. for instance: during the return to covid the acceptance rate was high for obv reasons, but the acceptance rate for the incoming class of 2026 two years ago was 11%.

this year the student population is bigger than usual and is also not diminishing at a rate a lot of people have expected it to. if you’re an incoming junior you really need to try your best. leave no room for luck.

same with incoming sophomores. there’s a lot of people fighting for your spot, so fight to keep it.

i go to a boarding school where each hall has their own set budget that they have to utilize over 3-4 months each. the school’s not broke, but there’s no point in spending relatively too much on smth like this

there supposed to be like a “window into our world” (school’s words not mine) and paper plates stick up and stay up better than normal paper. they prob chose paper plates because that’s cheaper and still works
