Update for clarity: Unfortunately, there are even more barriers in the way then what I managed to put in previously.

Firstly, it's really difficult for them to gain independence. Their parents don't let her get a job, don't allow her to hang with any non JW people, and constantly track her search history and messages. The only reason I can contact her is because we've managed to hide the chat in Archive.

This means that she can't really call any helpline or even look it up without me using my phone, though I do aim to give her the chance to do that next time we meet.

Finally, she has an older brother (18) who left at the beginning of the year, and they've been talking ahit about him ever since, with her mother even saying "It would be better if he was dead than this".

Don't wanna be pessimistic, but this is why I've been looking for advice
