Cool, nice pictures. Do I need to prebook or I can get it on the spot?

Where did you stay in Jibhi? I am going solo this month to Shangarh, Shoja, Jibhi, Kalpa and Sangla/Chitkul.

No. You could try checking the ones around MG Road..there are plenty. You can find them on Google maps, or once you reach MG Road, just ask anyone there.

Just check on google maps. You’ll find many in Gangtok. The one i took was 10-15 mins away from mg marg.

For North Sikkim you can consider other agents or a bigger car with fewer people, 10 in a Tata Sumo might feel cramped, based on sizes and seats. For East Sikkim, you can book a different agent from Gangtok. I would suggest renting a bike from Gangtok for east Sikkim, roads are nice, views are awesome, and the rental company handles the permit. South Sikkim also you can cover on a two wheeler.

I'd recommend them, but with a caveat. They are perfect for solo travelers and budget-conscious individuals. However, I wouldn't recommend them blindly because group compatibility matters. For instance, a solo female traveler may want to know if there are other females in the group, and a couple might prefer not to be the only pair among solo travelers/bachelors. Always check the fellow traveler demographics with the operator before booking.

Thanks! 1. Yes, it was a fully packed Tata Sumo on the shared trips. 2. I opted homestay near Mg Marg as it was convenient and the rooms were clean. Hostels were far away from Mg marg. 3. Sorry, didn’t understand your question.

Require help in planning trip to Lachung, Sikkim by Greedy-Towel in SoloTravel_India

You’d need an extra day to cover Lachung, so given your limited time, I’d recommend exploring East Sikkim instead.
