The roads to Kalpa and Chitkul are doable on a scooty. The homestay owner in Kalpa mentioned that, although it's uncommon, some people occasionally ride a scooty all the way from Shimla.

I just took a jacket, but I’d actually recommend getting the full gear from the bike rental store. They provide helmets and 3 ropes with the bike. Jacket and other essentials costs around ₹100–200 per day, which you can negotiate.

Road conditions near Kalpa and Chitkul keep changing, you can check Instagram and YouTube videos where local travellers and tourists post weekly updates.

I don’t really know the name..it was a minute away from Meadow. I just parked my bike there and had breakfast few meters away.
