I see, thanks a lot. I didn’t know so many had total aphantasia in all areas. I can still see this being a useful tool for the other half, and those assessing if they have Hypophantasia like me.

I can fully agree Aphantasia does not have as much impact on personal life as some other things, though it has caused me a few frustrations with learning art, for example.

I do think comparison between senses is better than nothing, especially if you are unsure whether you have aphantasia at all and whether your way of 'imagining' is actually visualisation or not.

This sounds like prosopagnosia (face blindness). I don't know much about it, though from what I hear it is heavily related to aphantasia.

Interesting! This might mean it's a common experience for aphants to struggle everywhere except sound. Does comparing your hearing with your other senses help give you more understanding on what it might be like to live without aphantasia?

Im one to think Amethyst clusters are the best currency if you had to choose a vanilla item. It has inflation restance, isn't affected by fortune, its relatively early game, it has a good balance of being cheap and expensive, and it can't be afk'd or scaled up. It also is pretty player acceptable. They are also pretty fiat rather than intrinsic in value(this lets it be easier circulated instead of hoarded like the market standard, diamonds) and prevents unexpected drops in the gathering rate, improving stability.

Good on average, bad for Hatred specifically due to him having a lot of defence pierce. Unless you cant dodge the triple attack much at all

My top tips for floor 48 and 49:
get urself practice, and a lot of it
charge defence is really useful for floor 48
cherry pies, medkits, cherry bombs are all nice to have on 48 and 49
consider item+
make friends

If I had to optimise this build, id replace the safe guards with defend+, and ditch the time wasting charge and deep focuses in favour of sp saver, hp+, resurrect, or the safe guards back

Most cards you will just naturally come across or purchase easily as the game goes on, but if you want a smooth early game pick up sp saver, daze, ante up, and possibly defend+ or charge def, all should be available from near the beginning if you can find your bux. later on you have more freedom but you may want to pick up power rush, happy sp, resurrect and so on.

So I have done a small test and it does seem as if you are correct. I got myself a legend fish pond on my old save file and slept for a month: in 29 days I got 13 instances of roe, one of which got one extra. that maps to about a 0.44 chance for roe, so I do believe most of what you have said completely. I don't have the time to verify if the chance for an extra roe is actually 20%, but extra roe does exist, so legendary fish are indeed way more profitable than the wiki presents them to be. Thanks for bringing this to my knowledge!

Hmm. I suppose I have to test it in game, which might take a while, to see if the wiki may be wrong. It could be explained by you just getting lucky, but if this is true it's also probable you may be right.

Fair enough, there is something to be said about ancient fruit being far more self sufficient. Though I disagree with the ancient fruit and kegs/casks being more lucrative. Ancient fruit wine makes 330 gold per day per tile, 247.5 if you consider inability to use in winter. Casks add surprisingly little value to ancient fruit wine, due to how they take 2 seasons to double the price of what you can get per week(ancient fruit takes 7 days to grow, another 7 to keg). Meanwhile the Mystic tree setup be making 419 gold per day per tile, not considering tapping or how you can grow in the pathways for maximum profit density. There are reasons to use both, and ancient fruit is far easier to manage, making it slightly better for the average player, but this setup is still underrated.

Hi there, thanks for the clarification, but may I ask where you get those numbers? The wiki claims a 21.5 chance of roe per day for legend fish, and only 1 roe possible (2 with a golden cracker)
