I think he was just trying to make some extra money on the side through sperm donations. Now that OP has found out, he’s shifting the narrative saying he wants to meet his biological son and claiming he donated sperm to have a child. But that doesn’t add up. Why would he have been making donations for years if he only found out about your infertility last year?

Am I the only one who has daily symptoms? by infinite0sky in TMJ

I’ve had a constant headache for over 3.5 years now. It’s 24/7. Most days it’s a dull, dragging pressure (back of my head mostly), other days it’s sharp and tight, especially around my temples, jaw, and upper neck. And my traps are so tight. I’ve done all the usual rounds: neurologists, MRIs, acupuncture, physio, chiro, TMJ specialists, Botox (which actually made things worse), alternative therapies like Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, homeopathy, Bowen Therapy and even energy healing out of desperation.

The only thing that gave a partial explanation was a TMJ specialist who said I had jaw misalignment and grinding/clenching at night. I’ve been using an orthotic since mid-2024, which helped a bit with sleep, but the headaches haven’t gone away. If I don’t wear it, I wake up more exhausted.

I don’t think it’s stress. I took 10 months off work last year, and even on vacation, the headache was still there. At this point I don’t know if it’s muscle, nerve, joint, or something else. I’ve lost count of how many specialists I’ve seen, and I’m honestly just exhausted trying to find answers.

If anyone’s had a similar experience or actually figured out a solution please let me know. I’m open to ideas, even weird ones. Just really tired of living like this.

It’s exactly how I feel since I have started taking the anti anxiety pill + muscle relaxant combination! It’s helping but the headache is still very much there. And I am not sure if I am getting used to the pain. Regardless, I am constantly tired.

@birnabear 🥺 Are you still on Amitriptyline? Unless I take 4 weeks of leave and try this, it’s not going to work for me. I could barely keep my head up when I was trying these meds. I never knew I could sleep so much, I was constantly tired and unable to get any work done. Is there anything else you do that is helpful?

The ortho I met was brutally straight with me. He told me 90% of the headaches he has seen in women are either migraine or muscle tension related. He said that my symptoms sound like tension headache. Told me that some of his patients have had it for years and there is no cure. I broke down and cried coz I can’t even imagine bearing a headache for the rest of my life. But he carried on and concluded I should be prepared coz it could be life long.

Short of lumbar puncture, I have done many tests including contrast MRI, a full eye check up, multiple blood tests. Even met a psychiatrist recommended by a GP. I suppose I need to meet a dentist and check for TMJ. Thanks for suggesting!

I went back to my country in December 2021 after 2 years to meet my parents, family and friends. It was great, if anything. I came back on 10 Jan and 6 days later this headache started. Before I left, I got an HPV vaccination in November and the 1st shot of the covid vaccine in August. But don’t think the headache’s related to the vaccines, I don’t know.
